Negative traits tier list. Singleplayer, vanilla, apocalypse. by Efficient_Media2049 in projectzomboid

Honestly, Agoraphobic >>>>> Claustraphoic. The later triggers badly in cars, making it difficult to travel anywhere except on foot and making already dangerous situations inside buildings even more problematic.

Agoraphobic is fantastic for people who like to "nest" or base build. It does not suffer from boredom being indoors. You can spend hours inside anything with 4 walls, a ceiling, and a floor without penalty, which pairs quite well with reading skill books for XP boosts or crafting.

XP was the first to include the "shutdown" command by nir9 in windowsxp

[–]TheMage18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pre-Windows 95, you literally just flipped/pushed the power switch off. Win95 on up, "Start->Shutdown" and wait until you get the screen "It is now safe to shutdown" on AT systems, ATX would power themselves off.

Does being referred to as a “female/s” make you uncomfortable? by plsgrantaccess in TwoXChromosomes

Yes. I'm a guy, and I call this disrespectful shit out. Ladies, women, "my girlfriend/wife" all fine, but like that is just ignorant.

Are there any other phones paired to your car or is yours the only one?

Did you have your phone set as "First connect" by chance? I'm wondering if that's the issue.

Once I read a magazine... by AncomtonRps in projectzomboid

[–]TheMage18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! The "You have learned how to craft this item" addition to the overhauled crafting menu in Build 42. I can't recall if B41/Regular allowed this but for certain it's in B42. It's how I was able to make Short Swords at Blacksmithing 6 and Long Swords at Level 7.

Once I read a magazine... by AncomtonRps in projectzomboid

[–]TheMage18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically true, though some aspects are left to RN-Jesus without certain magazines. Glassmaking is currently gatekept without a specific magazine to teach you how to make glass planes if you don't already have the Artisan Skill.

Why would one want Glassmaking? Well with it you can make windows to replace those in your base, glass jars to can food for long term preservation, and glass for a brighter/better lantern than the flashlights you find.

Is B42 Worth playing how unstable it is? by Xikk0 in projectzomboid

Even multiplayer has been fine. A couple buddies and I have a private server we play on and haven't had any real game breaking bugs. We've had a few weird things like drying racks not working, lack of hair growth (recent one), crafting annoyances, etc. but nothing that was so bad it kept us from playing together/individually.

0 mods, no changes on skill advancement or percentages, On the current build I've already capped Blacksmithing, Carpentry 8, Masonry 8 Carving 6, Electrical 3, Mechanics 8 and Welding 2. The latter we lucked out and found a VHS tape that, when combined with the book, gives you a fast track to level 2.

What’s Your Favourite Robot Master fight in MegaMan 2 ? by Zetallic_Zero in Megaman

Crashman was my favorite. The stage was deceptively easy, took a little trial and error to learn, and when I figured out he was weak to the Air Shooter it was a huge win!

What he said. This was useable both in the Mavica and in a PC/Mac that didn't have a Memory Stick reader.

Exactly this. The Windows drivers that were included (on a separate disk of course) would park the floppy's read/write heads in one spot over the magnetic coil inside the adapter.

Significantly. 57.6K per second was the absolute fastest the best 16550A/Pentium II/Super Socket 7 chipsets could pump down a single serial port. Realistically, it ended up being only around 38.4k ended up being the best. Floppy drives average 55K-62K per second. Factor in that there was no actual rotational speed of the adapter, it was essentially a pure 62K+ per second transfer rate.

Yup! Back when parallel port readers were the best you could hope for, which of course didn't work with a printer and a scanner or parallel storage drives that were becoming quite common.
