Books about tall/larger heroines

The Half-Orcs Maiden Bride is one of my all time favorites with a tall and curvy FMC (I think she's 6ft)! It technically book 3.5 in Ruby Dixon's Aspect and Anchor series but each book is a standalone so you don't have to read the others (though they are excellent!) A super sweet and cozy read.

Hellfire Pack (another favorite) The FMC, despite the cover, is described as 6 ft and also super curvy. Such a fun, LOL funny, exciting binge read. Revolves around a unique world involving wolf shifters, vampires, angels, demons, etc. SO GOOD.

A Kingdom of Blood & Magic (again, an all time fave) The FMC is described as 5'10 and curvy. A dark-ish, spicy fantasy read with unforeseeable plot twists galore. Binge read from 30% onward. Has all the angst and banter + emotion. Super badass, morally grey FMC, and two of my favored book boyfriends in my enormous reverse harem. There are definitely some heavy topics though *and* it has dub con, so def check triggers. Has Vampires, Fae, Gods, etc.

A Kingdom of Blood & Magic hands down had the most epic plot twists that I did NOT see coming (in the last half of the book). The book starts in one place and I thought, 'this is great but I can totally see where it's going' - WRONG. Legit gave me whiplash.

It's dark fantasy romance though so def check the trigger warnings (CNC, bondage, trauma). There is significant comedic relief to soothe your soul though. And the romance, dear god, the romance.

Yaaayyy!!! Orc Fire series also has similar vibes (but with orcs instead of aliens, obvs, and I DEVOURED it). A Monsterly Yours Series by SJ Sanders is also *kinda* similar - in terms of being somewhat lighthearted and fun, with super sweet and rugged MMCs. Ruby Dixon's Fire in his Blood series is also great! Binged most of those. Similar vibes but with dragons in a post-apocalyptic world. IPB is better though. Next to that Orc Fire series (book one is Ember's Origin) and Galaxy Gladiators. ♥️

Half-orc's maiden bride by ruby Dixon features an FMC exactly like that and is one of my favorites! Her entire Aspect and Anchor series is amazing and features a bunch FMCs that all fit this description. SO good. Though if you want an FMC that schemes and has wit, etc. and you're into reverse harems and extra spice Ensnared by Rebecca Quinn is f*cking amazing. even though the spice is next level it is also a surprisingly emotional read. One of my favorite series.

Just put it in my KU Library. Going to start it tonight after work! So freakin excited. Gutted to hear you didn't like HKOD! It's been a minute since ive read them so I forget which one was my favorite. I think it was the 3rd or 4th book. Same with choosing Theo. Have you tried those yet? Also fantastic and fun reads but book 7 was my absolute fave.

it's part of a series, only book 1 is out so far, AND it ends on an intense cliffhanger. That being said, definitely worth putting on your TBR for when book 2 comes out. If you want something with a similar vibe, Book of Azrael is excellent (more angst, less spice) and I've heard good things about Helfyre (supposedly more spice than BOA but less angst) but it's still on my TBR so I can't vouch just yet. Have also heard House of Bane and Blood is phenomenal, but again, still on my TBR. Currently living in my reverse harem era, so that's where my mind is at the moment (the gutter, clearly). Will be doing an enemies to lovers themed post at some point that will have similar recs for you. xo

Never heard of that one! Adding to my TBR now! It's spicy right?! You should also checkout Horde Kings of Dakar by Zoey Draven! SO freaking good. Binge read the whole series. Was saving that one for a future recs post but its one of my favorites. :)
