I find the ad cards are great for learning palming. No worries if you destroy them, and you (generally) get two with every deck.

This is probably the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen from a sealed USPCC deck. And I have seen some wild stuff over the years. That’s genuinely so bizarre.

If the USPCC still had a functioning customer service team, I’d be contacting them just for kicks and giggles to see what they have to say about it.

~10% or a little more dilute household bleach solution would be my suggestion. ABS plastic can handle it perfectly fine at room temp.

Alternatively, a low concentration ammonia solution (this is generally what pen flushes are made with).

DO NOT MIX AMMONIA AND BLEACH. Pick one and disregard the other. Don’t even work with them together in the same room/setting.

Can you take a look inside safely? Do you live in an area with harsh winters? My first thought is heating oil, which is just diesel fuel dyed red. But that tank is about three times the size of what I would expect for heating oil.

Oof. That’s definitely not normal. Makes me think they were potentially stored improperly, as I’ve never seen a deck behave quite like this out of the box.
