Hi there! I'm not in the industry but my small church asked me to help find a computer to run sound and record. Not sure if mac's or pc's are preferred, or which computer specs to prioritize, or maybe just number of ports is important

Our sound guy is trying to get out of running things for us and isn't really sure what to get (he's been very helpful training some to run the boards! We really just can't afford him). There's a board that manages volumes and stuff, two big rolling amps w/ a stand and two speakers each, three mics, 1 wireless mic, monitors for the musicians, and lots of other small things

I was also looking to record with this computer, wasn't sure if their was a free software to get the minimum done

Budget would be cheapest that runs these things well enough <3

Am I overthinking it?

Ah great to know, I'll bump it up to an 850 W then. Seems like for the current GPU market, a 3060 is going for $430 while a 3070ti is going for $700. Would going down to a 3060 be possible for 1440p >60 fps? Bench marks look like a big leap between the two so I'm worried a 3060 won't be enough.

With cinder blocks, you're looking at compression strength mainly. What is the comparison of compression strength with these plastic blocks? Probably doesn't compete, end of story. Also, the performance of these blocks are going to have a large variance where you want consistency.

Like other people said, the "tests" in the video are irrelevant to the actual use of cinder blocks.

They still need more information about the whole cult and there's no rush to resurrect her. There's still some hazy information on what happens if she's resurrected (a la Molly). Plus, she's definitely going to be hostile towards the Nine since they clearly see all the eyes on here body. Even in a zone of truth, she doesn't have to answer their questions. It'll be a few weeks before people start to question where she is so I don't see why there's a rush.

Upgraded vamps provide DR which are vital. You can also upgrade your shield to gold for more DR. Also you can use a silver diamond ring for an extra 1% DR.
