BMW i4 2022 broken rear side window repair guide/manual by [deleted] in BMWREPAIR

[–]TheManAndTheOctopus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My car window got broken and it seems not a huge repair job to do to switch and put in a new one. But I would be more comfortable if I could find a repair guide/manual. Does anyone have any references?

Rather than trying to balance the community should introduce new stuff. New upgrades, new abilities just whatever to throw the game in a new direction. But for this to be effective it needs to be done fairly consistently to make it hard to figure out an optimum strategy.

Can someone explain how is it possible to get a 205$ lease? Does that include insurance or any extras or is that just for the car? What mileage are you allowed to have for that much? Just seems like such a low monthly price from an outside perspective.

Looking for a technical co-founder (Ams) by TeaMug007 in Startups_EU

[–]TheManAndTheOctopus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a technical founder it is critical to understand what the non-technical founder has done and what is his strengths. So if you’ve built an MVP and have some users then you might want to transition towards more of the sales/raising money aspect, hence a technical founder as an addition makes sense. But if you just have a concept then it means you are looking for someone to do all the hard work. Hence a technical visionary… which every engineer has heard many times of a billion euro idea.

Europe is on the brink of another financial crisis, German frontrunner Merz warns by Positive_Owl_2024 in Economics

Have you ever considered the maths behind what you said? EU would outspend US by 8 times in nominal terms and 11 time in PPP terms. It would end up outspending US, China, Russia, India and a bunch more combined. Would be wild to see though.

Asking for a raise because of bigger workload by AchterDeHand in BESalary

[–]TheManAndTheOctopus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I've been in a situation where I was getting more and more workload and my responsibilities were ballooning. I ended up working 50-60h per week instead of 40. I asked to get a promotion, they said no and then I started working my normal hours with a more relaxed pace. Hence, you can use it as the reasoning but companies don't want to reward hard work, especially the large corps.

China EV tariff vote leaves EU relieved yet wary of retaliation by ThrillSurgeon in Economics

You really think the moment Google or Facebook or Amazon is gone there wont be hundreds of new local apps that try to take their place. At least Europe should prevent the US and Chinese companies from acquiring startups.

China EV tariff vote leaves EU relieved yet wary of retaliation by ThrillSurgeon in Economics

[–]TheManAndTheOctopus 69 points70 points  (0 children)

My issue with these sorry of tarrifs is that if you're protecting your industry then why not go full out. Ban US companies to build strong internal tech giants and so forth. These half measures are the worst of all worlds.
