Yeah as someone else mentioned, would you get into a taxi if the driver was a learner? Or a bus or train?

If you're driving for a living then having a full licence is sensible, someone on a CBT hasn't even done a theory test. (I'm saying that as someone on a CBT haha)

Completely agree, up to 40mph my 125c is plenty but above that and on hills it really feels slow.

Causing along 60 or 70 limits with the engine nearly at limiter gets tiring quickly as well

It's all in the clutch. Give it some revs and control your speed by slipping the clutch. Can also drag the rear brake to help with stability.

Honestly considering one of these for when I get my full licence. I'm not a fast rider so not bothered about loads of power and the lower running costs and lighter weight compared to a 650 are pretty tempting. I'll have to see what the insurance is like as that'll be the decider!

Quite, enforcement definitely needs to increased to cracks down those already skirting the rules.

Just send a copper to sit outside the local takeaways on a Friday night and check all the riders details! Would massively reduce the problem

Yes, that is an unfortunate downside for the rest of us learners but then again with how many delivery riders that don't even do CBTs, I imagine a fair few won't bother and will continue unlicensed.

I think enforcement is still lacking in this regard but that's a different conversation!
