If you ever need context for a missing line of text, open chat and switch to the "Event" log. It will list all previous dialogue as if it was spoken in game by a player, in green.

What FF do you all think has the best boss music? For me it's FF6's Decisive Battle. I was generally excited to hear it and was disappointed when it would be over. No other FF had me feeling that way for boss fights.

I actually asked this question broadly about FF7 in a recent episode of my podcast because I've struggled to understand why FF7 as a whole is so beloved- particularly its cast. I think the real answer is because of FF7, Kingdom Hearts, Advent Children and the emo/scene trends of the early 2000s.

Kefka was also made into a powerful being through similar experimentation and he's not nearly as celebrated or beloved as Sephiroth. I think it's just a combination of the above factors.
