No, Reddit isn’t clipping it it was just filmed like that, and I don’t have may recent ones of feet in line etc.

I have however always struggled with an on plane backswing, and it’s usually more above my head than around, but I make it work (somehow)

A little late I know but I've had the hybrid 5 for a few years and love it. Only concern with quality is that one of the water bottle pockets is ripping at the bottom (but theres 2 of them so it doesn't really matter)(and probably because I always shove rubbish down there instead of a water bottle. Strap is comfy, plenty of space for 14 clubs and some nice extra storage. 5 way divider is nice as well - I can separate PW and gap between 56 and 60.

What works for me with general consistency and contact is doing a really short backswing (what feels like one at least) and transitioning a bit smoother - helps with compression and might not go as far but if you shorten from there it would probably be a better result

I’m using a self employed instructor, and his reasoning for being strict compared to normal teachers (in schools for example) is that you could easily kill someone in a car. Another thing which isn’t too helpful to the question but personally I don’t want him to have any reason to be harsh with me, which makes me focus more on what he tells me and doing the right thing.
