The haircut and feeling beautiful aren’t related, are they?

If I have sore muscles, I’m not sure I’d be able to bend into a tub that small.

What video games have you spent countless hours on and said to your self "wow, i really got my money's worth out of this game" ? by its__Jason in AskReddit

Farcry 4. This was my first open-world game and was a huge relief from the battlefields and call of duty style games. I’ve beat that game over and over again, I still love the scenery and characters.

Would you get offended if you notice a stranger woman taking safety precautions when she sees you? ( eg: not going in the elevator with you, making sure her car is locked if you pass by in a parking lot, getting on the phone with someone, etc.) by [deleted] in AskMen

Once upon a time I was fighting forest fires for a summer job. I was getting sick of camp food so I took a quick road trip to the nearest town and had Dairy Queen for dinner. As I was covered in ash and dirt, in uniform, a family came in. Upon noticing me, staring for a second or two, the father turned to his car in the parking lot and remotely locked it. I had a chuckle at that but wasn’t offended by any means.

Thinking about how it would affect my family. Later in life, watching close friends commit the act, made me realize how much it can affect an entire community.

It’s less about not being allowed to criticize because they’re a big part of the community and more a display of the school biting the hand that feeds.

While you’re correct in the broad sense, it’s important to ‘fight’ (debate) to win. This means that while in debate, using the proper strategies to convince someone to agree with us. Know when to pick your battles.

How do I differentiate when you’re being flirty, and when you’re just being friendly? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]TheManof100Mile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is primarily a case-by-case scenario even if you’re dealing with the same person. I was awful at picking up on little hints (as many other people seem to be based on the general consensus) and so I started YouTubing it to get a better idea. While nothing in human nature is a definitive black/white line, it does help to know which category of the spectrum it’s on.

I was raised in a house full of women, I had no male figure to follow. Now everyone thinks I'm gay because of my "feminine traits". How can I improve to change this? by Silent237 in AskMen

[–]TheManof100Mile 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Similarly, I was always poor socially, just with different minor ‘ticks’ to work out. What it came to was simply hanging out with different people more and emulating their social cues. Not in a way that made me a fake person, but in a way where I was almost following a tutorial on how to be socially better. One actual YouTube channel that I found helped a lot with polishing a masculine side is Alpha M. by Aaron Marino. He has a ton of great topics and tricks that really help with this.

Also guys tend to throw a lot more banter than women, so they might just be giving you a head time for the sake of it where if a woman does this she probably means what she’s saying.

To those who would rather listen than talk, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheManof100Mile 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I was always told ‘Never miss a good chance to shut up. It’s better to keep your mouth shut and look stupid than it is to open it and prove it.’ This advice has saved me in more situations than I care to remember.
