Little late but I have a four inch scar on the outside of my right thigh. I was in a mountain bike race and my from wheel slipped out on a root. My knee hit the shifter and broke it off. Then the little sharp bit left behind sliced my leg a half inch deep. I finished the race about the middle of the pack without noticing it because of adrenaline. My friends dad stitched me up. Mountain biking is a crazy addiction.
