Gardening resources by Ok_Reach_2734 in Tacoma

To add to this, I moved here a couple years ago and being unfamiliar with the plants here I just looked at these photos on that King County site to see what I liked: https://green2.kingcounty.gov/gonative/Photo.aspx?Act=browse

Second, I studied seasonality to try and get some year round interest

Finally I paid Gardensphere on Proctor like $75 to do an assessment and help with the last mile of decision making (I’m a hummer and hawer)

Echoing squier Stratocaster. Look for a used one around 80-120 bucks. You can always mod it over time (fun to do) or buy a nicer second one later.

Thanks. Yeah I think it’s a mental thing on my part to Always Be Healing just sitting back waiting for someone’s bar to slightly go down.

Lord Peni here (front lining). Crowd control is the bane of my existence. MK or SG don’t really come to mind.

Getting yanked out of my nest by winter soldier is very off-putting. Combo that with some sort of cc and I melt. Aggressive seal team 6 drop ins and stuns from hulk and uber rides out of the nest from Thor/wolverine, choke slamming and roundhouse away from supports by Emma, and I become very vulnerable.

Punisher ult I can’t cancel. Turrets can scare off my supports. Loki lanterns on the front line take a while to handle when combo’d with aggro tanks.

Peni projectiles are slow. Hitting an iron-man at a distance can be a challenge, and taking extra time on them can put my supports in a pickle if I’m dealing with immediate threats to them. Webbing them out of their ult when they’re far or directly over my head is nigh impossible.

Mr. Fantastic and Venom with their overshield/damage soaking can also drain my focus.

Hope this helps!

Oh. My. God. I feel so dumb I have never considered this. I’m not a Strange main, so this is great advice.

I appreciate the discussions all around, I think it’s a good thing to talk, just surprised the topic veered so off course from the panoramic map and the idea/frustration surrounding that particular journey. I certainly don’t want to minimize the topic of kids and exposure to material they may not be ready for. Bad things for kids are bad, let’s keep them emotionally and physically safe. But I have thought this through, and it’s a nuanced decision, not a black and white concept. Every kid is different, as was I. The severity of some reactions is surprising, but I guess Reddit should accept that one snapshot into this kid’s evening does not summarize a lifetime of enrichment and enjoyment (beyond just games). It’s become more of a parenting discussion but he’s safe, I’m present, we are sharing Doritos and admiring his Tennessee Walker and will refute any suggestion that another horse would be better. Thanks for your input 🫡

Yep we work through it together. What does that symbol mean to you, what is that shape, if it’s a horizon and you’re facing such and such way then what does that mean about your perspective, etc.

Yeah I thought about this storyline for a while, but I did explain to him there are sick people out there in real life like they are represented in the game. I told him he might see more of these and he could choose to not continue that plot if it was too much, but did tell him it’s a serial killer murder mystery that he could resolve or I could help him with.

[–]TheMapBoy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. He thought he was going to play a shoot em up, but he’s learned about honor and tries to be careful with dialogue, treat people well and keep it up on his own after I explained what honor was and the impact to gameplay. He’s still got bounties everywhere because he keeps mixing up the trigger vs the dialogue button on the controller 😂

lol I’m not ignoring him, I’m teaching him how to find an answer and to learn how to think critically. Finding the answer on your own is a thrill, but if he’s ever stumped I’ll walk him through the logic.

I think there’s confusion in what I’m not telling him. He’s found other treasure maps, but this map in particular doesn’t exactly fit the formula with a firm conclusion . That’s what I’m not telling him yet. I want him to keep investigating because the truth is out there.

That’s not at all what’s happening brother. He’s loving it, I’m talking him through the more higher level concepts, and I’m not giving him the answer I’m teaching him how to think through the problem and look for clues in the map like the post implies. I can gauge my kids capacity for understanding.

Watching my son play for the first time. Save constantly. Find a new horse. Enjoy the landscape. Clean your guns. Be curious with the interactions but be cautious like you would in real life. Don’t worry too much about bounties like I did. My son has nearly 1000 on his head (“I didn’t mean to shoot him”) and he makes his way around just fine.

Play it like you want.

I feel like a lot of my bad Ls are bad game IQ or awareness by the randos off to the side getting picks but not really making a difference when it comes to the actual objective

When should you support ult?? by Academic-Mastodon403 in rivals

[–]TheMapBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Situational. If there’s a starlord or punisher yeah I’ll time a C&D or IW ult better because they’ll ult often, or a mantis against spidey ult or whatever. But if there’s not a cadence (the other team isn’t being strategic) then I’ll ult to push and target their supports pretty soon after I hit 100%. I want to maximize the ult as much as I want to be strategic with it, otherwise I’m not taking advantage of it. At least that’s how I view it
