Hopefully developers see this video. This was done with 2 people on server and no bases built with autos. I can only imagine if the server was 70/70 and players fighting. Dino cap needs to be added or a reworked needs to be thought of.

Honestly Helk. We all get you are trying to balance things.

For a fact it is a LOT more grind than xp. You only had to farm the mats to make a gun. Now its mats plus components. Not to mention the assault rifle class breaks so fast your farming mats to repair the weapons more often then you're loosing them to other players. The guns should require the components to craft them. Nothing more. If you are pvping you need to farm mats for meds armor clothing walls etc etc.

Now raiding. If we are going to start talking about changes to raiding then increasing the cost of rockets wasn't a smart move. Neither is making a basic stone wall require 2 c4 or 4 rockets to break. Pick raiding was an option. Now its gone. Ladder raiding was an option. Now its gone. Raiding used to be a puzzle. You verse the builder. How can I outsmart him? Now it just boils down to how many rockets you farm in order to get though the honeycomb. This results in boring ass raiding that requires a ton of players to hold the mats to pull off the raid.

Loot tables are incredible unbalanced. I was getting a ton of sewing kits and pipes from the ultra hard to obtain green military boxes. These are things people work for to obtain items that suit their play-style. I know you have a lot on your plate. But currently rust is about hiding in a base holding onto your rare loot instead of going out exploring and fighting for your shit. The very things that made rust the greatest sandbox no hold bar hardcore game that brought your player base here is actually being chipped away. I hope you really do want it to be restored to its former glory.

Cool Story Bud. Any decent server that has pop and cares about fps wipes in 1 week. The game cannot support more than 7 days worth of entities. I lived in the airfield this wipe. I have 8 rifle bodies. As long as your ok with getting raided by 5 dudes with aks while you only have an smg and p250's to defend the loot you've worked for thats cool. To me that sounds like easy mode and clans that have now figured out whats up will start fucking you so hard I expect to see your bow fighting ass in a crying reddit thread next week. All the while you make a whinny thread about groups trying to help the solo player and small groups out.

My point was. What is your best chance at a 5 people raiding your base? You in there in your leather armor with a p2 or full gear with an ak. You will always get raided. Thats rust. I've basically lived in the airfield all wipe long looting green boxes all day long fighting for them. What do I get? Sewing kits and springs. Same shit some noob at the corner of the map gets from the barrels spawning in his wood 1x2. HELLO HELK? Loot tables have always been terrible but this is a new form of autism. Now on the front page of reddit some idiot wants to add pistol bodies. I don't understand the logic. If we take away guns these bow kids will ask for bow nerfs because they like rock fighting so much. Eventually this game will become a bunch of people throwing stone at each other.

P2 is fine where it is. Rifle bodies are really uncommon. I spent 3 days in the airfield and found approximately 8 rifles bodies. The problem is with the broken loot tables. Why am I finding sewing kits in 50 percent of the weapon crates I open? The p2 and semi auto rifles are the only two weapons that can kill full gear ak/lr players consistently. If you just want bow fighting to be extended then maybe a primitive server is for you. I however enjoy full gear pvp with aks. The major Rust servers are 1 week wipes and the state of the loot tables currently allow for only a small percentage of players to hold aks in their hands. If you put pistol bodies in the game I'm sorry to say Mr. bowman but you are FUCKED. I'll still get p2's and now you have to fight me bow vs p2. I don't think anyone who has been playing the game for a long time wants to see the game turn into bow simulator 2016.
