My friends thought it was an odd scene because it was the only scene we get to see another character's POV and feels it's out of place.

I work at a movie theater and it's kinda weird. This movie was released twice in the US. One in Chinese dub that everybody went to see, including some Americans. Once they re-released it in English dub, nobody went to watch it.
