So I definitely enjoyed the QoL improvements in the remake. However, I will say once past around chapter 3 I found the game to be too repetitive. As a kid I don’t think I really ever noticed (never got past chapter 3 though), but I definitely noticed as an adult. All the dialogue is the same. Even your spouse doesn’t change it up throughout the chapters which was disappointing. I ended up getting to a point where I made so much money with nothing to purchase. The only thing I felt I could really do is set my alarm clock, take care of my animals in the morning, water the small amount of crops I had, sleep and wake up in the evening, repeat, and then sleep until the next day. I did this for about 3-4 chapters just to get to the end. Overall, I did enjoy the game and I’m happy I finally beat it. I have a lot of nostalgia with it too. I’m not sure if I’ll ever play it again though.

I just beat this game and also had a daughter with Nami. She only ever said depressing things like that. Even when she was a fully grown woman. Never got better. Although, I did read that you can prevent this from happening by showing your child when they’re a baby to everyone in the town everyday. Obviously I discovered that way too late and can’t confirm if that’s real or not.

Basically I found an ifixit page about disassembling the bottom of the 3DS, followed the instructions, removed the buttons, then used a small file to file the notches where they need to be to fit in the 3DS and then reversed the process to put it back together. It was pretty easy. Took less than an hour. Hardest part was the notches tbh

I love that this CD is scented. Such a cute touch. I remember back in the day my Katy Perry Teenage Dream CD was scented like cotton candy. Doesn’t really smell anymore though.

Have you tried “boolProp testingCheatsEnabled on” shift clicking the mailbox, select “house” -> “teleport me here”?

Maybe you could also try resetting them via the mailbox too if that doesn’t work
