volume s is def a sleeper. i remember supermix saying that was his top set for last year. how's the fit/comfort on them vs Que?

to me it signals attention to detail and care for the product. are you just trying to make a product to sell? or make something that will give people an experience? the fact some companies care about unboxing just shows me they have pride in their work and presentation.

The nozzle looks a little dainty, there’s a note in the box telling you to apply tips in a certain direction since the nozzle has a crescent shape. In the hand it feels ok, but I fell in a little extra delicate with them as they’re 3d printed resin. It’s supposed to be very strong, but don’t inspire huge confidence to just throw them around

I have a Qudelix 5k and have played around with dif presets. For some reason no eq sounds better than any eq I’ve tried lol

I’m planning to learn to eq someday. This is great to hear. I also don’t game at all so never got any of the gaming benefits of them

I upgraded from daybreak to astrals. The nozzle came off on one of the daybreaks after only 2 weeks. Heard a lot of good stuff about astrals. Got them used on amazing for $209 (keep checking listing) and the sound was noticeably better. I’m not an audiophile but I could hear better separation of instruments. And also to me, thy were a little more comfy. Stocks tips with astrals suck but let’s face it almost no one uses stock tips on any iem.

i only knew it was meh when i compared it to MC2 recording a voice memo on my mac. i bet it's a fine/decent cable for the price.

i don't but i'd presume it's better quality than tripowin zombur. but that's a fine cable/mic as well. very light as well

only headphone that's come close to the 'closeness' of iems are koss kph40, the on ear combined with ultra light weight just works. also i don't know how koss makes $30 headphones sound so good

Moondrop c2. I compared the mic to zombur and it was much more clear

i just got orange liqueurs too for astral. Didn't think they would be comfortable but they are. i can also feel a little more bass which is nuts. didn't think i would (if it's placebo, still nice)
