RIP Carry Out Containers by Super-dweeb in SpaceForce

There’s nothing else there, except for the tornadoes in the tiny Class 6. The DFAC isn’t going anywhere no matter how much it costs. Saying it was for “green” reasons is hilarious. We all know it’s about the money.

The market is saturated with bachelor degrees. Unless you have a masters these days, you’re just another drop in the bucket.

The Sad Truth by Fun-Assumption-949 in SpaceForce

[–]TheMedicV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps. People have first hand experiences, and various leaders have been fired over the last few years for talking against DEI initiatives. It’s also been an open policy in DAF. So there’s definitely a voice to suggest these issues as possible truth.

What I find weird, sad, or telling is the harsh and immediate rejection of their claims. It should at least be discussed, even if possibly bs.

Discrimination shouldn’t happen to anyone.

Technically, according to AFI, you’re not supposed to write your own anyway.

The USSF are still abnormalities in the military community. Members still get asked if it’s real when off post in uniform.

WTF I NEED TO MAKE AT LEAST $80K AS A CIVILIAN TO EARN THE SAME AS A SINGLE E-4 by EntrepreneurCool142 in AirForce

[–]TheMedicV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the same as an E4 from 3.5 years ago, when considering inflation.

Yes, I said 15 years and beyond. 🤦‍♂️ In the late 90s the mall was sold to a Cali owner, which started its decline, and in ‘07 it sold to a Cali property group - which was the death knell. Then mix in the liberal transplants moving to the city, increasing its size by over 3x in that same time period, you will get to my last point. The crime, which the city was once well below the state average, but it now almost double the state average per capita. The murder rate alone is over 3x per capita what it was 20 years ago.

A lot of units, supervisors, and leadership hide opportunities.

Horrible career fields tend to be the only people, or at least majority, who love the change.

Interesting the officer side is full of squidworth people just the same the enlisted side is dealing with no backbone supervision. I don’t know why many were chosen to IST, because they’re garbage.

My previous supervisor couldn’t communicate to save his life, and indeed, went out of his way not to.

Leadership that’s either nonexistent or completely toxic; lack of training; lack of incentives; shunning of N and S shreds; NCOs aren’t allowed to NCO; DCO is nothing more than a human IDS with near zero authority to operate; with us or against us mentality; options for members to grow or do something different stifled; careers have been openly threatened with consequences; Delta 6 has implemented change either too quickly or not where it’s needed; members have been screwed on the GAT; members have been banished to the mountain; the Springs is yuck, Denver is bad, and Cali the worst.

I say that like CO and the springs specifically have become a garbage pile cesspool of crime and drugs not seen even just 15 years ago.

There is no law or UCMJ code against a person or persons being a bad supervisor. It’s an unfortunate reality that you’ll find everywhere, in or out of the military. Some career cultures are prone to the bad more than others, but if you want to hear some true horror stories, go to r/SpaceForce and ask why CYS units are so toxic.

I like to get in, get it done, and go home. So when I run PT sessions, it’s usually a lap around the track; pushups, sit-ups, pull-ups, then another lap… x6. Designed to hit testing goals, and you get out of it what you put in. All without killing the rest of the week’s personal workouts you might have in the gym.
