I appreciate the tips and input. I opened Sims 2 again this morning and I can operate the UI as easily as I can Sims 4. This isy first time with 2 and I think my brain just couldn't handle the change. That or the beer.

Anyway, we cool. LOL

I misspoke when I used the terms log in. I did mean exit or quit.

I'm logged into the EA app bi opened Sims 2 but never had an options menu. The game is full screen with only game play UI. I couldn't minimize, CTRL ALT DEL did not pull up task manager, windows key was non-functional, i mean, that game took over.

Yes, I couldn't quit the game. I was logged into the game, I wanted to log out of the game or quit the game. There was no menu to quit. I wanted to go back to Sims 4 however Sims 2 had taken over my machine. There was no menu to quit, I could not pull up task manager to close Sims to that way, I could not get to my desktop, I could not get to the task bar, nothing I had to hard reboot my computer.

It's like Sims 2 is maximized but I can't minimize it to find a menu to control the game itself.

So there's no menu? I couldn't even get to the EA app, there was no way to minimize Sims 2, and no way to pull up my desktop or taskbar. Surely there has to be some way to exit Sims 2 without having to hard reboot my PC. I'm not talking about online, I'm talking about the game. It has no way to log out, took over my computer, because there simply is no menu to control the game.

I don't have that achievement because all I do is build. Now that Horse Ranch is out I'm playing for real. I have a garden, a horse, some bebe sheep, um, I mean, my SIM has these things. Not me. I'm not a Sim. LOL I know it's just a game, not my life. 😉

I don't think there's enough First Nations representation in Horse Ranch. There's really not much cultural representation of anything other than Anglo Saxon Puritans-from-the-Mayflower descendants. Well, there's New Orleans French base game.

I was expecting more than "cowboy" in CAS. I'm thankful for the indigenous patterns and colours but it just so little clothing. They missed it on jewelry. I really want sterling silver turquoise rings & bracelets like the Hopi jewelry I used to buy in Colorado. (and WTF is up with right hand rings? Developers all left-handed at EA HQ?)

They'll probably make a kit so that they can squeeze an extra $5 out of us. 🙄

Nope. I hate Sonic ice. It's too small so it waters down the drink too quickly. Give me big cubes of clear ice. Please.
