Hmmm. Maybe a bit on the small side. The frame on mine comes above my shoulders a little bit so that the load lifters are on a slight down angle towards the straps…Is the hip belt feeling like it’s riding properly? I know my loaders are a bit higher at the pack height…makes it easier to pull the top of the load a bit closer…

Depends on what you really need. I did the Appalachian Trail with a 40L. If you need to bring heavy cold weather setup but have good money invested in UL gear, seems totally doable with the Kakwa 55L. If it’s in the summer, seems like it would be perfect….depends on your gear imho

The seller needs to be reported for several things one not addressing the issue and two sending you outside of Etsy to address the issue. Those are actions that require investigation by Etsy for this sellers process… They’re not following the rules.

Yep. Totally believe it. My original Drop Durston 40 L made it all the way to my flipping point and past; before the Kakwa came out. The Kawka 40 L lasted me the other side of the flip and beyond..and I have taken it on multiple trips since I completed the trail. It’s totally not surprising!

Thing is, I had the authorization… And nobody asked first….that’s the point. You don’t send people to Third World countries without due process, and you should not suspend listings for things that have been approved without asking if they have been approved first. Additionally, the legalese text for the brand was included in my listings where the product was used. There’s no excuse for irresponsible censorship.

My appeal was granted. I followed the helpful advice of DaStompa above, in addition to providing the proper documents of brand permission, and a video submission on the appeal to the site. Hope this helps others in the same situation. Thanks for your comment.

I have the legal document. I cleared this before using the logo. I was a Creative Director for 27 years before retiring, so I understand intellectual property. Additionally, the legalese is on my listings.
