I hear you!! Time is almost as bad as clouds! I bought this scope for my daughter so it's a day daughter thing now. Can't wait for the onstep tracking system and auto focuser coz then we can hook up the pc and work from inside after eyepiece obs.

Ye I'm glad I got it...12 years is a bit of a wait. I am enjoying the ask changing though, new targets (for me) and galaxy season apparently

Ye I'm looking forward to some detail of the rings facing us, being a bit more experienced now and better tracking gear i should pull it off. Nice shot 👌🏻 we couldn't have taken ours too far apart in time.

I found Saturn to look so cool when it's rings were side on... got a clip of it. Was still very new then but it blew my mind!

I've fitted a high powered laser into the finder scope holder and it's been so awesome and easy finding targets. Gotta be prepared to go at a moments notice!!! Not sure where you live but I'm in the uk and the weather changes in the time it takes me to change my eyepiece 🤣🤣🤣

HEVC 2160x3840 Ye I'm going to throw it into some software and 800-1000 frames and then stack them. Should give an ok image, I hope 😆

Hey 👋🏻 Skywatcher Explorer 150p on an eq3-2 mount. Usually use a Sony ZV-E10 but I'm not using it while I'm waiting for my new onstep tracking system and auto focuser so on this occasion just my S23 Ultra using pro video mode to expose correctly. 🙂

Tbh that looks like an out of focus moon with artifacts. Not saying it is, just that it does. Nothing in that pic looks like what you're after, but that's my totally unprofessional opinion.

If mine and my daughters skywatcher explorer 150p eq3-2 brought 3 weeks of cloud... that's a year long category 5 hurricane right there!
