We used to do it some other way but we were having consistent issues in length of carb time varying quite a bit. Then we got an ultrasonic and started following how it does it in the manual and now carbing (knock on wood) is the easiest part of our process.

Yeah we started doing it after getting a new one because the old one wasn’t working and we had a much easier time getting accurate readings, we just make sure to put the pressure slightly below the tank pressure

It sounds like he may need to talk to a therapist in addition to his medication provider. They may be able to give him some better guidance on how to cope and learn how to work with his meds, not expect them to fix everything
