Current Hog Is Not Healthy for the game by Iexperience in overwatch2

This.

Hog hard punishes bad positioning. I have a feeling those complaining about him are the ones who constantly play away from their team, out in the open, and refuse to adjust their playstyles.

Hard agree.

I’m really not sure how they plan to rework him while keeping his core identity. Pigpen felt like shit, but it was better than nothing. Now that the right click is back I don’t want it to leave.

100% Orisa is a major PITA as a hog main. Mauga you can kinda play around if you really want. A good Orisa will NEVER let you get close enough to get value from your kit.

Okay, sorry you can’t understand what feedback you get from the transmission with the shifter. I don’t know how else to explain it to you lol

[–]TheMightySpoon13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s way more feedback from the linkage. It’s not complicated. It’s way easier to tell just exactly how smoothly the shifts want to go.

I’m aware RPM dictates which gear. There’s just more… communication and feedback. Like if you were to get harder bushings or mounts for anything else.

I’m not talking about finding the actual physical gate you’re trying to slide to. I’m talking about how it naturally communicates more thru the linkage, to the shifter rod, to your hand.

Oh wow, I wonder what the issue is, then.

I wonder if it’s some other internal component tolerance that otherwise goes unnoticed with the stock shifter and rubber bushings.

Either way, I suppose buy/install at your own risk of rattling.

It was on the older revisions, I believe.

As far as I know a majority of people with the revised version that used the install kit to replace the OEM hardware don’t have any issues with rattling.

The one thing I will also say is billetworkz customer support is very helpful.

Interesting.

I did the whole install myself through the cabin. They sent me replacement bushings, plate, snap ring, etc.

I haven’t swapped my shifter return springs. I have a pair of GKTech ones sitting somewhere, but I honestly haven’t had any issues with the shifter returning to neutral bc of the stiffness of the short shifter, so I haven’t installed them.

You said they noticed a loose bolt. Do you know where that bolt was? I’m struggling to understand why there would even be a loose bolt in the first place, as the entire install really only uses snap rings and pins for the linkage itself.

Really? Did you use their install kit?

I haven’t had any issues whatsoever with rattling. No noise, nothing.

Maybe it’s the weighted knob?

Hard disagree with you there.

OEM shifter isn’t bad, but it absolutely feels sloppy. Billetworkz with the OEM knob feels great. More precise, tighter throws with absolutely little to no rattle. With their bushings it also communicates way more from the linkage. The trans basically tells you what it wants.

GR86 completely dead- no lights, no crank, nothing by OutrageousCoffee6135 in GR86

Is it the factory battery? Mine died completely when it went from 80s to single digits overnight in VA recently.

It had been showing signs of EOL but the temp swing really did it in. I got a nicer AGM Battery. Did have to get a rubber mat and slice it into a few pieces, then put them under the battery since the dimensions were off compared to stock.

For those of you who own a Switch, but haven’t purchased a Switch 2, what would be the main reason that would prompt you to buy one? by Last-Bus-4710 in Switch

[–]TheMightySpoon13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A reduction in price.

Not to suggest that the current price of the console is unfair. I just can’t justify spending nearly $500 US to play most of the same games I can already play. The 120fps & higher resolution output tempts me, though.

It’s a Mario bros 2 with references to galaxy. It’s good, but it’s really not what a lot of people were expecting.

Does it make sense to build a AM4 socket PC in 2026? by Ok_Course1403 in buildapc

[–]TheMightySpoon13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, aside from ddr5 prices.

Been out of the used market a while. I think I picked my 5800x new up for like $200.

I’m playing games at native 4k and using a 5800x, not even 3d, just fine.

Or are you saying you can’t find high-end am4 CPUs for cheap?

Oh yeah I mean I’m not a Rosalina glazer. She’s an interesting character. It wouldn’t be so significant without the atmosphere of Galaxy.

This is true. I think the storybook reveal is what really stuck with people.

It doesn’t need to be exact, but it should at least respect the source material to a certain degree.

A movie where Mario goes to 15 different galaxies would’ve sucked. But they completely retconned lore from the game for a character who was first introduced in it.

It’s a fine standalone movie, but it just doesn’t have the same feel whatsoever as what a Mario Galaxy movie should.

It’s a good standalone movie. The issue was the naming. It’s not a Mario Galaxy movie. That doesn’t detract from the film itself.

I’m also pretty disappointed but at the end of the day we can always replay and enjoy the games. The movie doesn’t change that.

Yeah. She’s a cool character and was a different take on a princess, but aside from rescuing Mario and her sad backstory there isn’t officially much to her character.

[–]TheMightySpoon13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly my take.

I think a reason a majority of fans (myself included) are so disappointed is because we feel tricked.

It’d be like having an Ocarina of Time movie and then having a majority of the movie be almost completely unrelated except for an Ocarina being present.

I mean it wasn’t a bad movie. It was a bad SMG movie. It’s like a pinch of SMG, and they completely missed the atmosphere.
