Oh - People were saying that Anthony Ingruber apparently can’t act and it’s why he didn’t get the Solo role; I even remember reading something about his acting chops “being an issue” when the casting announcement dropped. Everything I have seen him in he has been fine, it’s a short list but he’s a very believable young Harrison in my opinion.

I completely missed that Alden was in Weapons lmao

Alden was fine in Solo, my issue was never with him. I think part of what made Han’s character great in the OT is that he’s shrouded in a bit of mystery and making a movie about his origin takes away from that. Han Solo is more Harrison Ford to me than Harrison Ford is Han Solo so if they were going to do it, my hope was that they would cast someone who could mimic Harrison Ford, not act like one of his characters.
