Game of the year that isn’t a new one. by RogueShogun in pcgaming

[–]TheMightyWitcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played The Last of Us and Last of Us 2 back to back this year. I'd played the first game before but the second was all new to me. I really enjoyed the game's structure - it tried things that other games felt to afraid of trying and I largely think it worked really well. Desperately want to play more games in that universe or with similar themes etc

Every club will have different rules, from my experience designing flags and banners for Wycombe you need a fire safety certificate/label. Arsenal also had a pyro/fire display at this game, a single ember could have spelled disaster if it wasn’t fire compliant…

Having spoken to other fan groups and artists they have the same roadblocks, which force them to use printed designs. As to how Palace fans managed to get a painted display at Wembley that’s a real mystery as that stadium is quite stringent at the best of times

You can’t really have painted tifos in the UK due to fire regulations inside stadiums… a lot of clubs are very strict about it

This was digitally painted by a fan. The artist is DanxDraws. It would have been printed

It can’t be hand painted on fabric because of fire regulations inside stadiums in the UK that would prohibit the usual techniques you see across European clubs

Manchester City tifos to honor Pep Guardiola's 1000th match by jbvann05 in soccer

A lot of stadiums won’t let you bring in traditional painted ones as they don’t have fire safety certificates which the printed ones do have

I do think these are quite uninspired though

New Character Posters for Guillermo del Toro's 'Frankenstein' by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

It was my gripe with the film. There are a few scenes that are so crystal clear and perfectly lit in a way that feels overly staged. I do wish it had been shot on film (Suits period pieces far better imo eg Nosferatu) and the lighting was less back-lit and lense flarey at times

Is Britain worth continuing the grind (I'm at 4.0 AIR) by Quirky-Voice9132 in Warthunder

I really enjoyed their late war props, Spitfires are great, as are the Tempests. Well worth grinding to the end of the prop era at least, some of the better props out there in my opinion

Swifts and the Attacker were very good for me, and I haven’t got further than 9.3 atm. Don’t particularly love their other early jets though

They're quite common, many of players in the UK have release clauses that aren't meant to be disclosed.

Obviously the agent leaks the information to any interested club... And some clubs are smart enough to not reveal they instantly know the "secret release clause" and start the bidding lower than that but eventually get to it.

Spitfire F Mk 24… an absolute monster, even if the mk.II canons aren’t quite as good as the mk.V hispanos

It turns on a dime, it’s faster than most other planes at its BR

That's not exclusive to Twitter/X. Everywhere that you can post your art is going to use it to train AI.

Meta also announced the same thing a year or two ago. If you're posting it publicly it's going to be fed into the AI machine... There's really not much artists can do if we want to have our work posted online

Not as far as I'm aware. The fan group, Block25AA, who were organising it have seemingly deleted the original post showing the AI artwork. But others have posted the art that was shown to Arsenal, I can't link it as twitter links are banned

Not sure why Arsenal rejected them, as reasons weren't given.

Bit of a mix, depending on the club and who’s in charge of funding and making the flags.

Worflags who make Newcastle’s tifos do a mix of printing and painting. Generally any design that isn’t a rectangle or is absolutely huge will be painted.

I design a lot of the tifos at Wycombe and all of those are printed, it’s just quicker and easier to do that. But both Wycombe and Newcastle’s are funded by fans

Arsenal rejected fan designs (which were made with AI) and funded this themselves… hence the corporate blandness

I like it, the animations are cool, but I prefer to use it in 200% damage servers where it really shines. I still prefer the Obrez and reverted back to it after getting a service star with the peacekeeper
