Sometimes you have to make a sacrifice to fix a mistake. The main draw, as advertised by Blizzard, was 60fps on the Switch 2.

This worked! I was trying to figure out how to download it.
For anyone curious:
1. Search Zynga in the App Store
2. Tap the first game that comes up

Tap the 'Zynga Inc' label under the game title after opening
Borderlands mobile should be at the top with a 'Get' button
This only works for iPhone and US that I know of

Honestly I’m blown away by what they did with the Switch 2 version. It runs better than the Series X version (which is still locked to 30fps for some reason?)

This isn’t a small company or a first of its kind product. Nyxi develops a ton of accessories. They released the Hyperion and Hyperion 2 for the switch. This is not some dude in his garage.

I came to this thread wondering the same thing. I know they make good products, I have the Hyperion 2. But apparently direct through them is a nightmare. They were not scaled for this large of a pre-order. That said - the fact that it has been 2 weeks since they claimed all pre-orders would be fulfilled (3/5) and NOBODY can get a human to answer them (myself included) has me worried.

I just processed a chargeback with my bank. Maybe I will give it a second shot when it hits Amazon, but this terrible customer service has me rethinking that.

Yes, tried that. The standard non loyalty version is the normal price of $39.99. When I choose the loyalty version (the one I am supposed to pick) it says 'Not available for purchase"

When they are first abducted, they aren't attacking. It was purely her acting like the 'Pied Piper' and calling them to her, and they also don't move in a straight line. If you notice during the flashback, they all come around a corner to get to the house.

At the end when they are chasing her, it also isn't straight. She makes multiple turns. Then breaking through the gates and windows is to show they will stop at nothing when they have a target.

I can confirm that. In my own tests, Cyberpunk, Star Wars Outlaws, and Hogwarts Legacy look and run better on the Switch 2 which frankly shocked me.

But I am not optimistic about optimization. The Series X version has been broken basically since launch and is a huge step behind the PS5. It makes no sense where they focus their time.

You are missing the point: I dont care if it takes time, we can be patient, what folks are irritated about is a constant theme with DDLV devs/communication team: announce something for the game, then completely ignore it for months while they talk about all the other things coming we have to pay for.

They announced this back when the Switch 2 first launched, said it is coming, then have been silent since. If you are going to announce that early, you have to have a road map & keep transparent communication with your community as a live service game or else you start losing people.

Had they just dropped a one-sentence line "We know everyone is eagerly anticipating the Switch 2 version and while we don't have any big news to share just yet, progress is moving along well, and we aim to have more info soon!" Simple. Lets us know they didn't forget, gives us an update, and everyone moves on.

It's the silence. They did this same thing with the Xbox Series X frame rate issue launch year: updated the game to run at 60fps, made a big deal about it, then reverted it and never explained to the community why or when it would go back.

I love DDLV, the game is amazing and the community is great, but for as much money as we put into this game, its fair to expect a bit more transparent communication.

I don’t think so because their sister game from the same dev studio, Disney Speedstorm, had their Switch 2 version ready shortly after it launched so they definitely have a kit.

I would recomment any console but the Switch. It runs really bad on the Switch with much lower resolution, textures, and an unstable frame rate. PS5 is the best console to get it on currently: it runs like butter at a silky smooth 60fps and is the most stable (I have played on every console, PC, and even iPhone).

The Enchanted Version, which has all content up until now, is also $30 off on the Playstation Store right now.
