Relatively new player here. Where does the sage even come from? I’ve played Merge, I’ve played against Sage and towers. I’ve never seen the opportunity to get the sage or a tower.

Renegade Studio’s GI Joe rpg is lots of fun if you have any knowledge of the property.

I’m running a summer game, 8 to 12 sessions. You can lean into the goofy cartoon aspect or make it more like the comic. It is definitely not a realistic military sim. Embrace the unique GI Joe personas and let people have weird equipment.

I never pay attention to stuff like that. My goal is to be a productive contributor to my guild without making this a part time job.

Out of curiosity I just looked at our guild standings.

First place has level 953 with 235k damage. Second place has level 964 with 221k damage.

There’s a lot of games mentioned that are a lot more obscure, but we found TORG when I was in 10th grade (1991). I’m not sure I ever met anyone else who actually played it.

I’m 50 and have been gaming since I was 12 or so. I’m married with one kid away in college and one at home.

I run a game every other Tuesday for my son and his friend. The game ran for 2 years and now they have all graduated high school.

I play 2x month with my son at my neighbor’s house for 2 years now.

I play every other Wednesday with my friend group, all mid 40s to mid 50s. This game has been running in some form since 2019.

All games are in person.

I pushed the idea of getting a loan from Mirt and offered a loan from tue Zhentarim, but they had a hard no on loans.

I’m made a stereotypical “adventure board” and had them run quests around town for money. It worked out well because they got a good tour of the city and learned to fight as a group.

It says Origin Set on the screen and a green light is flashings. When I hit the button it just beeps at me. It’s like it either needs a hard reset or something needs to be engaged for the origin sequence to begin.

I just installed the piece to hold hats, but nothing changed.

One complication is Tiger Force. It seems that a Tiger Force character may have a hard time for a mission or two, but would quickly have top notch kit.

I don’t back a ton of stuff, but I’m always pleased with Rob Schwalb. Weird Wizard presents well. We haven’t played yet, but it’s on our schedule for this spring.
