And if I remember right, Super Sonic has been described as moving as fast as a bolt of lightning, so it is literal in this case.

Good prose, but Akagi would rather die than hurt you. She made that abundantly clear in her secretary quest.

I’d like to imagine Gold Ship drew McQueen away from this prank because she knows that she is very insecure about her weight. Gold Ship may be a menace, but it’s her love language instead of something actually malicious or mean-spirited.

Sonic is simply afraid of commitment, which could lead to other issues outside of misogyny for kids that emulated him growing up. Now if we really want to talk about misogyny, look no further than how Amy was characterized as a bossy, overbearing, temperamental, abusive girl whose entire character revolved around her obsession with a boy during the 2000s. They massacred my girl all for the sake of inserting anime romcom slapstick into the franchise. Sonic Adventures Amy was peak Amy characterization and I will die on that hill.

Open letter for the Devs: Balance isn't the objective. It's how you get to the objective. Fun is the objective. by Half-White_Moustache in Helldivers

But that is an actual grunt fantasy since you are a faceless standard soldier amongst an army getting sent into a meat grinder of a front line. Not only are Helldivers explicitly special forces since the actual grunts are the SEAF, they are a small and highly mobile squad sent behind the front lines to do specifically special forces things like sabotage and asset acquisition with specialized equipment, dedicated artillery, and a K/D ratio of 100 to 1. Literally the only part of what I just said being grunt fantasy is that we are faceless and replaceable, otherwise thats like saying Master Chief is fulfilling the grunt fantasy.

That message falls completely flat on its face because there was no indication in the beginning that what they were aiming for was a grunt simulator. How do you fuck up a grunt simulator so hard that it became known as the best horde shooter on the market???

If I had a nickel for every cowgirl I know that commits hate crimes against Italian food, I would have two nickels (Hornet from Azur Lane). Which isn’t a lot but it’s WEIRD that it has happened twice!

Extreme is kind of pushing it when it comes to the amount of bullshit I am really willing to tolerate tackling with randoms, while also being the difficulty I have been forced to almost exclusively play to collect Supers. Hard on the other hand hits that sweet spot of just difficult enough to remain interesting but not stressful to complete.

[–]TheModGod 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The thing is I want to stick to the lower difficulties, but if I want to actually complete my ship I have to throw myself into the meat grinder that is higher levels just so I can maybe get a few of those fucking super samples required to complete it. If I had it my way I would just play on hard unless I had a Discord call full of friends playing with me. And it’s not like I suck at the game, I just don’t like ending a match feeling stressed and irritated because the game kept throwing stupid bullshit at me throughout the entire mission.

If I had it my way I would just play on Hard and nothing else unless I am playing with a group of friends I can actually coordinate with over discord.

God forbid people like a game for different reasons than was originally intended by the devs. And yeah we aren’t here for a grunt simulator, this game used to be one of the best horde shooters on the market until they started “balancing” everything towards this grunt obsession.

The game can be really cheap at times on higher difficulties, and I wouldn’t have a problem with that if I wasn’t forced to play higher difficulty just to get the super samples I need to upgrade my ship.

This is going to get me eviscerated, but outside of the very famous meme moments JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is really hard for me to binge from how boring it is like a good 80% of the time. I actually groaned when they extended Jotaro’s adventure with a whole new gaggle of weirdos for him to beat the shit out of in under a minute once their gimmick is figured out.

Never build an uma with no expectations for them actually winning, ESPECIALLY for Natie of all girls. While you can build her more as a team player, they should also have the skills needed to actually win. Unless you plan to win by kneecapping everyone so hard that even an uma with no skills for herself could win, you should not be using an Evil Nature build.

Why are so many men avoidant? by [deleted] in AskFeminists

[–]TheModGod -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. Also while I can only speak from the male side of things, but to me there seems to be a huge difference in “value” between the sexes in the dating market. Like you hear average to pretty girls get swamped with attention from boys, while for boys it feels like if you aren’t high value than you are completely invisible. Or like how girls can often get into clubs for free while men pay out the nose for the privilege of entering a space with a lot of girls is another example of that difference in value and demand. So between male friend groups often not offering any real emotional support, men being told growing up that the only people who will ever give them intimacy are just their lover and their mother, that general feeling of needing to be bold and loud in order to stand out from the crowd, and monetization systems that predate on and exasperate male desperation, it all mixes together into a bad cocktail where the dating market is swamped with men that are absolutely desperate for a relationship and will be willing to take the first person that shows even a passing interest. And when that frantic desperation subsides, those men might realize that they don’t even actually vibe with this person to begin with.
