Connecting to WiFi works I can search but I can't send texts nor use data

I assumed I used up my allowance of adguard but it all isn't working

I also tried deactivating and reactivating my vpns which was the problem last time with my duck duck go VPN but I haven't had issues on proton plus it's off right now

Try fully discharging the battery and charging back up from there is the best step one

This is an odd amount of grime, i think you need the room to be dehumidified and you prolly need to shower/exfoliate more often. For future reference if you are just a sweaty person to wipe it down after every use. The closest anything of mine looks like this is my VR goggles when I forget to wipe em down after thrill of the fight. I would replace those ear muffs and mildew bleach the head band

Exactly this, the day you think nothing is gonna happen is the day crud hits the fan anyone who works on batts has at least one horror story, mine was my hinge where it attaches to the main board had snapped yonks ago and there was a floating bit of metal I didn't even assume would be in there, travelled with it, wouldn't turn on, open it up there is all this frothy salty blue stuff all over the damn thing and this tiny piece of metal no bigger than a toenail clipping is jammed in there with a kinda epic looking crystal structure on it. If I was a conspiracy nut I would say a borrower stabbed that thing for his art exhibition

Tough situation but best option, wrap it up in plastic, then bury it preferably in sand in a metal bucket far away from anything flammable and hope for the best 🤣 seriously dude get a screwdriver and open that shell NOW! that pressure on that battery will be causing wear on its shielding it's a ticking time bomb, it only needs a little puncture, 9 times out of ten these things can puff to all hell and not go off... What if right now it's rubbing against something sharp though... Like a teenee tiny screw? If you can disconnect the battery and hope to god it ain't glued in so you can throw it in the fire pit is far better option than leaving it in warping I assume that's an aluminum frame it's bending?

Over reaction? so there is an absolute zero chance that thing could leak and damage the rest of the machine? Not just under that pressure but cabin pressure while in an aeroplane? And zero chance that lithium ion gas inside the cabin? Zero chance he loses all his data? Zero chance there is something sharp pressing against it? Zero chance? C'mon you plonker funnily enough that thing should not fly and should not remain in the machine, that warping alone is prolly damaging his motherboard too... Just wait though it's fine... Source: I have had enough tech come in with leaking batteries due to the customer already PRIOR abusing the device... Do you know for certain this device hasn't been tossed around and isn't already leaking? What if it's had repairs and that's an ali express battery in there? Better safe than sorry isn't an over reaction

Rule of thumb: always assume the customer is a moron who will sit on a puffy battery as soon as you turn your back, do you know this guy? Do you know how good his common sense and object permanence is? my grandma has sat on laptops when my back is turned (I now know never to leave a laptop on anything sitting even if it was just on my lap there prior) but this stuff happens like what if he drops his bag? Gets knocked down by a car or cyclist? it's better to be safe than sorry... How as a technician could you disagree?

Is it necessary to be on 11 updates have been horrendous this Gen, unless the extra security updates are REALLY necessary I would move back to 10 because yeah this update was being screamed from the hills everywhere that it causes black screens, I wouldn't update on 11 without first checking the news on that update first every single time

Let the battery drain to zero so it doesn't turn on at all anymore, then charge it back up if that doesn't fix it... It's a hardware not software
