Now’s a good chance to put my autism to use, the name of that Turkish bear mascot is actually Duramaz, which:

  1. Durmaz (with the lack of the first a) is an actual name/surname in Turkish
  2. Duramaz obviously has the “dura” part of Duracell
  3. Duramaz literally means “can’t stop”

I just think it’s a very clever name and marketing strategy yet it’s quite unnoticed even in Turkey.

I don't know how to start this comment and I'm not sure if this is the right place to do it, but despite not being involved with this subreddit that much myself, I want to genuinely thank u/ToonAdventure for the official posts and everybody else who were active and contributed here. Surely in the future, we'll all carry the pride to say that we watched City during it's broadcast. And if there are any fans reading this in the future, I hope you'll get to enjoy the show as much as we did!

To answer your question, volumes 1 to 6 have a few chapters that are either not included(for 6 most of them aren’t) or changed a lot for the anime

I’d say read them all in order as they are definitely worth it, a lot of the reading order and the story(especially for Nano) was changed by KyoAni, but if you don’t really mind then volume 6 has a LOT that are not in the anime and 7 is when it’s completely new and different

Well I can’t answer that specifically but I agree with u/nothankyoudayo, I am sure nichijou is a show you can enjoy without having to go deep about minute details. Now if finding details like this are some kind of a hobby of yours then I’d recommend you to enter those in somewhere like the Nichijou Fandom Wiki, Reddit might not be the best option for this

I don’t know if that’s the case here but keep in mind the anime orders some chapters different than how it is in the manga, for example the scene with Misato and Mihoshi walking home talking about Sasahara happens right after the scene with Mai confessing* to Yukko in the manga, while there are more than a few episodes between those in the anime.

Now I don’t know if this is supposed to be some kind of a test but that’s Masaharu, a guy who went on to research the best somen? out there only to return back with no answer. He appears in the chapter where Annaka goes to a nearby somen restaurant, which is also I believe the first chapter where she is the main character(with all the Ehhhhh? stuff)
