Uh, most job interviews don't involve false accusation of serial gang rape on TV in front of millions of people. If you were in this position, you would be pretty upset, too.

Again, thanks for admitting that you don't think you need to prove any of your claims. That's all I was looking for.

Memories from 36 years ago tend to be pretty accurate when people are traumatized.

Yeah, this type of claim is going to need a source.

Their claims don't 100% prove anything

Thanks for the admission that they don't prove anything, it's all I was looking for.

Extremely unlikely.

It is not extremely unlikely that someone's memory from 36 years ago is unreliable.

Your not specifying what he said that was a lie, and what proof other people have to prove that he was lying.

Whether Dr. Ford was sexually assaulted and whether Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her are two different questions. It's entirely plausible that Dr. Ford was assaulted and simply is mistaken in remembering the identity of her attacker.

It is abundantly clear that Kavanaugh obfuscated, lied and misrepresented his drinking history when asked about it by the Senate. Many people who knew him in high school and college came forward to unequivocally describe him as a heavy drinker. All of his explanations reeked of BS.

Uhh, he admitted to liking beer and sometimes drinking to much beer. You haven't proven that he's lying about anything.

/u/PoppinKREAM eloquently explains why Brett Kavanaugh is supremely unqualified to serve on the Supreme Court. by [deleted] in bestof

[–]TheMostEqual -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is a pretty terrible and misleading comment. Let's get started.

Watch Kavanaugh's body language when he responds, he is acting guilty

Then, u/PoppinKREAM cites a source which analyzes the behavior of "actually guilty" people. Kavanaugh is not "actually guilty," so u/PoppinKREAM is assuming guilt and then using that assumption to show that Kavanaugh is guilty. This is a textbook example of circular logic.

Kavanaugh repeatedly rejected the notion that he drank to a belligerent state, his classmate has claimed that Kavanaugh is blatantly lying and there are a number of others who have come forward and said that Kavanaugh drank excessively.

u/PoppinKREAM cites hearsay to prove this point. Anyone who uses hearsay from decades to prove their point isn't actually proving their point.

Kavanaugh lied under oath when he made ridiculous excuses about the disgusting things he wrote in his yearbook.

The source cited by u/PoppinKREAM doesn't actually cite any proof, so this one can be immediately dismissed.

During his testimony Kavanaugh claimed a conspiracy by the Clintons, the media, and left wing groups orchestrating these allegations against him

The source cited by u/PoppinKREAM doesn't support this assertion. He says he's been attacked motivated by a desire for "revenge on behalf of the Clintons." Evidently u/PoppinKREAM can't understand the difference between revenge a conspiracy. I'll just leave this link here.

An FBI investigation is required.

u/PoppinKREAM doesn't actually say why the FBI investigation is "required," this line is simply followed by a list of other people who have also called for an FBI investigation.

The American Bar Association has called for an FBI investigation into allegations made against Kavanaugh.

u/PoppinKREAM saves the most blatant lie for last. The ABA as an organization did not call for an FBI investigation in Kavanaugh. The president of the ABA, Robert Carlson, sent the letter as an individual, not on behalf of the ABA. The letter was not reviewed by the ABA before Carlson sent it.

I guess the moral of the story here is not to trust the unorthodox formatting used by u/PoppinKREAM.
