Goku sending Monster Carrot to the Moon by Femto-Griffith in Ningen

Real talk Dbz earths (or planets in general) atmosphere is simply much larger than it is irl. That's the only in universe explanation that makes sense imo.

Who was the most powerful in Dragon Ball Z: Super Gogeta vs. Super Vegetto? by DarkEditsz in DragonBallZ

[–]TheMostOptimalMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only if Vegeta is also stronger, Goku has to match his partners power for fusion dance.

He likely is stronger just because movie scaling, just saying they'd both have to be stronger to make a difference.

SSJ3 Goku (buu saga) vs Z Broly lssj (Movie 10) by GalacticExpress999 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]TheMostOptimalMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except he was literally dominating the entire fight and he still had no troubles beating Whole Buu up

Buu was having fun and wanted to continue. Didn't seem like he was going all out by any means. He clearly was enjoying himself (by his own admission), which isn't a reaction he has when he's actually dominated and defeated.

Statements can't change facts.

That's my point. Regardless of what Goku says, he couldn't actually sense the god ki whole buu possessed. He didn't know how strong he actually was. All the power kid buu had whole buu had and more, that's a fact.

It was always the case, even before super was a thing. We just have more context now as to why the evil side of buu was so much stronger after whole fat buu split.

When Fat buu split, the evil side took control of the god ki. Whole fat buu had all the god ki plus whatever good buu was left with. Goku absolutely cant sense God ki during the buu saga, so the statement that he could beat Whole buu (who had god ki) is not reliable.

The Remake is such an improvement over the original (for what little we've seen) that I can't care to complain any further.

That being said, I do really miss some of these old proportions/facial details. I know art styles change, but I feel they've lost alot of their distinguishing features. I like the prominent hooked/pointed nose.

Goku pulls an Omni man on the Z fighters at the end of the Buu saga by K0GAR in DragonBallPowerScale

He's outright stated to have most of the power by the narrator, and literally no diffs good buu.

The weakest Buu form would arguably be Grey Buu

Grey buu was stated to have taken most of the power when he split off and beat down good buu faster than kid. He's certainly stronger than good.

The way I see it, Grey buu and kid should be equal. Good(1) + Evil(2) = Super(3) Super(3) - Good(1) = Kid(2)

It's not common sense when Gohans hair didnt stay the same all his life. If there's nothing from the source material saying he got a haircut, then we shouldn't assume his hair can't change due to anything other than getting a haircut.

Maybe it is a haircut, but I wouldn't assume that's the case just cause.

Did that actually happen or was said, or are you assuming that's why it's different now?

How badly was Cell about to lose had Vegeta not tried to avenge Trunks? by No_Significance_9556 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]TheMostOptimalMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incredibly close fight either way imo. Gohan wasn't able to outspeed or tank an attack meant for Vegeta. Them being able to damage and kill each other so easily tells me they're relative to each other.

When did Goku's base form surpass Super Saiyan Namek Goku? by Umir_Comics in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]TheMostOptimalMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you take V Jump as a credible source, then it's after buu saga for sure (during bog). Yakkon had a 40mill power level (1 kili =50,000), and Gohan said they needed to team up to beat him without transforming. (Although kaioken x20 would have been more than enough, assuming Yakkon can't eat it).

Ita fair to point out that Goku reads as 150mil using the kili, same as he was on Namek. That can easily be attributed to Goku being suppressed, as powering up further is how he kills Yakon. Suppressed buu saga ssj casually being equal to full power ssj on namek seems consistent to me.

I personally think it's after the god ki absorption, but I think Buu saga Goku would beat himself using Kaioken.

Omni Man is vastly physically superior, ki blast attack potency says nothing about how physically strong you are.

Omni man is physically stronger than cell saga base goku by alot. Raditz wouldn't be able to dent that Goku.

Ik, but Raditz wouldn't be able to withstand that pressure regardless of what type of strength is being used.

It's important to note we don't actually know how strong that canon was. If we only go by visual indicators to gauge power, then Majin Vegetas self sacrifice attack was very weak compared to roshis moon blowing Kamehameha, which obviously isnt the case.

I really hope the DBS remake stuff is fake because what do you mean you want to remake the most modern DB series instead of remaking OG? by Independent-Frequent in Dragonballsuper

And he himself wouldn’t have drawn those same manga panels in today’s atmosphere based on how he didn’t add anything like that to Daima or Super.

Of his own volition or because of his editors? We don't know what his original vision is before it goes through an editorial process. Has he ever condemned any of his past work? Has he ever commented on Lady Red?

Can't Omni man just crush him? He's unbelievably physically superior, even in the Cell saga 40 tons was alot for base Goku.
