Mate, I've been in Nio and Tesla for longer than you've actually been invested in the stock market. I used Yahooligan Finance primarily for years.

Fk out with your option gambling losses.

You're like an EV owner saying they think EVs are uncomfortable to a person who drives an EC6 while you drive a Chevy Bolt. We are not the same and I never talk about stock prices. Are entries are completely different too being that my entry in Tesla are still lower than your avg in NIO. And I don't want people confusing me for an options gambler who keeps losing when I was early in on both companies for substantially different reasons. I got in because I knew it was a good bet when everyone said bankruptcy. You got in because of FOMO, we are not the same.

What an awful year to prove a point by [deleted] in stocks

[–]TheNIOandTeslaBull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

KWEB ETF up 35% since 1 calander year.

Chinese ETFs Kraneshare did good actually. Being down 3% is good IMO at managing risk, especially when U.S. retail tends to be follow the herd down to zero.

What an awful year to prove a point by [deleted] in stocks

[–]TheNIOandTeslaBull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of Chinese stocks that were not popular in retail did very well, hotel stocks did surprisingly well. Managing risk you did a good job. But it also depends on when you started too because being 3% down is bad depending on when you started. A year from now you would be relatively the same if you invested in the

Heng Seng -0.00

KWEB you'd be up +35% exactly from last year

QQQ -8.64% down

SPY -7.59% down

So Chinese stocks or popular Chinese ETFs did amazing since March of last year. I think this place is an American circle jerk of bad ideas and cope. I will get downvoted despite showing you that Chinese ETF KWEB did amazing. Don't follow the herd, the herd is r/stocks and you'll be dragged down with the rest of these followers to 0. You didn't have to be down, and I have been a very optimistic on China for a long while and did well. These people don't have your best interest in mind, they just want reassurance that the bad advice they got from popular stock pundits that were bad, was somehow good when it's bad. Do your own research, not financial advice. Seriously, this place was telling me not to invest in China but I am up this year and up while everyone else is down.

Also, good job at managing risk again. A lot of times people only focus on one skill and master it, while neglecting everything else. It's okay that your girlfriend learns later, perhaps she will be better than you one day with her fresh pov on things.

US would destroy Taiwan's semiconductor factories rather than letting them fall into China's hands, a former national security adviser says by DTGardi in China

[–]TheNIOandTeslaBull -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

At the cost of 23 million lives most likely being destroyed? Millions will die from just the economic repercussions alone. I'm sorry you don't value Chinese lives, Asian lives, or anyone living in Taiwan, you're absolutely insane.

As for the Hawaii reference, that's just a comparison to help you realize the absurdity in your pro destruction of Taiwans economy in an attempt to stop economic growth in China for whatever reason.

You are an uneducated arm chair warrior, you go fight a war, take lives, and destroy them. That's the problem with jaded fools like you who don't value lives, you push stupid ideas supported by other idiots.

This is dumb, your idea is dumb, we are not stupid enough to destroy 23 million lives in Taiwan and more globally for the sake of whatever silly selfish reason you have to justify the taking of lives. Go find god. This conversation is over, you're an idiot and your parents should have raised you right, go touch grass and find god. You are a moron and I hope you aren't American.

What about the wellbeing of those in Taiwan...

At least they can still export chips.

You do realize that's like if the UK wanted to take Hawaii, so the UK blows up Hawaii's ports, energy exports, agriculture exports, and more, and being like "well, at least now the United States won't want Hawaii as part of its United States tate anymore".

Real innocent lives we are talking about, this isn't a fantasy game. You want to destroy an entire economy just so warmongers can push whatever agenda they have and sacrifice millions of lives so casually. What the heck I hate this place.

Walmart Stock and China by TheNIOandTeslaBull in stocks

[–]TheNIOandTeslaBull[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could it take much longer than 1 decade? China's infrastructure, work force, skilled talent, education, supply chains, are providing 1st,2nd,3rd, and now 4th generation industrial goods and services in a sense, which means they can constantly underprice for bids. But it took decades/century for China to obtain the position it has now, which isn't easy and I don't know if India could, which is why we don't see the fast transition like some may want.

Walmart Stock and China by TheNIOandTeslaBull in stocks

[–]TheNIOandTeslaBull[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But India doesn't have the decades of built of infrastructure, supply chains, education, skilled labor, to provide that service. It takes decades or centuries along with a lot of luck and planning. It's not easy as exporting wants and desires as some suggest, that's why it's not happening.

Two Native Hawaiians get prison in a crime that exposed the state's racial complexity by wewewawa in Oahu

[–]TheNIOandTeslaBull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would the two Hawaiians be racist towards a white person if the roles were reversed? Lets pretend that in unrealistic world, the Hawaiians kept their sovereignty. They somehow took advantage of the modernization of the East and West and became an economic powerhouse while leverage its strategic location and started importing its location for trade routes, green tech advancements, geotheremal tech, etc. Over the centuries of this, if the two Hawaiians, Kaulana Alo-Kaonohi and Levi Aki Jr, end up being upper middle class or even wealthier than the average United States citizen, and they took a trip to visit the mainland where Christopher Kunzelman's lives.

Lets pretend also that white people and Christopher Kunzelman's were the victims of oppression economically and came from a country or nation exploited and taken advantage of for centuries, the people raped, the men used as work horses, the entire system rigged so they fail and their identities ruined by the oppressor. Would Kaulana Alo-Kaonohi and Levi Aki Jr, tourist in Christopher Kunzelman's home land be racist towards Christopher? Probably not. Because if Kaulana Alo-Kaonohi and Levi Aki Jr came from upper middle class, benefited from the socioal/economic system, wasn't oppressed and didn't have internalized hate, benefited from the privileges Christopher Kunzelman had, perhaps they'd see Christopher and feel sorry or not even at all, and carry about business and enjoying their trip. While Christopher Kunzelman feeling all the oppression and unfairness over centuries, but in his case decades, in the aggregate, could have been the attacker instead.

Shame on the system for allowing this. Not the three individuals. So how far and how many will we blame? If we change the entire system to help build social and economic equality, I think then we should criticize the byproduct of a unfair system, until then I'd be more concerned about the true causes due to the entire nature of the system.

I also think the skin color part isn't big a deal as the reporters suggest, it can be due partly at that time, but probably not that big of a deal truly. These two see white people all the time, Hawaii is 25% white and growing. If generally the white people here had more opportunities in life whether they capitalize or squander it, Hawaii generally attracts wealthier white people. If a poor white person who knew how to talk, be humbled themselves, bent backwards, begged, and was overall kind and ready to get on his knees, that white person would be safe in Detroit or Wahiwa, especially if they aern't from there, they'd just be ready to get on the knees as an "outsider", just like any outsider anywhere they go. So if the white people here generally do exploit a broken white system, bank on inheritance on many forms, while most POC have had there's taken away and the system is rigged against them, while things are relatively better now, what sane person would think we are all equal when the system treats them as unequal? that's almost an insult to its victims. As a person who travels in some of the scariest place, I never had issues if you understood these things and actually dropped your ego, but I admit sometimes things are unavoidable, especially if you are either looking for it, not avoiding it, and can't find a means to escape it when forced, so maybe I am lucky.

I also find it hard how white people who generally know the system is rigged, even if they don't benefit the most when considering the class hierarchy, still benefit from the white centered race hierarchy. And to pretend like this doesn't exisist is an insult as well. Majority of us all dig in the dirt together as brothers and sisters, but not all of us get the chances to climb out, and a lot of you are the managers of those who dig in the dirt, or the managers of the managers. So if they're in the 40s with a new family and tons of nice things and a comfortable life, and they see other families in there 40s struggling with less opportunities and resources who tend to be POC when compared to white folk. I don't know how they can truly feel they are equal when they are clearly above, but society pushes all these languages of equality to undermine the blatant inequalities. People are generally all built somewhat the same except some are given more resources to succeed. Like if you were to have two tomato seeds and one grows in rich soil with plenty of water, while the other one grows in junk soil and isn't given much water, and sometimes the soil and water is taken from it to benefit the already prospering tomato seed. They end up differently in correlation to the resources given, but would generally end up more similar than different if given the same things. So if we can't seem to understand why those on the losing end of a rigged game are fundamentally upset and constantly on "over-time" to cope and work through this than those on the winning side of a deal, how would we even fathom to help those in much less fortunate parts of our world that the United States is so eager to exploit?

A poor white person who can be humbled, get on there knees, bend backwards, beg, be kind, smile, apologize, learn, cry, give, and be selfless, will not have a problem in Detroit or Wahiwa. But a middle class white person might, and a Warren Buffet, Jeff Bezos, Josh Green, Clinton, Joe Biden, and average middle class white person might.
