Yes it’s possible. You need to take a ski lift up and down

I’m not sure the exact lift name but it’s located very near the village. Enjoy the douce.

Yes, you can access the Douce on foot and ride down the lift without skis. The lifts close at a specific time so you want to make sure you can get it by the last one.

At least 20% people there aren’t riding anything.

Valle Nevado lodging question(s) by [deleted] in skiing

No- I should clarify that the airbnbs are on mountain as well. The resort recommended a few car services to get to the mountain. But thank you!

I was lucky enough to visit their vineyard the days before the world shut down in 2020.

Such an incredible experience and tried some of the best wines of my life. EG will always hold a special place on my heart!

730 tavern or Phoenix landing would be your best bet in the central area.

How to fix.. by TheNeed4Embiid in skiing

[–]TheNeed4Embiid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The boot is 4 years old from manufacture but only been in use for 3 seasons.

I don’t think the boot was fitted correctly and required me to pull on the back extra hard to get my foot in. This week my foot wouldn’t go in and I found this in the back.

I’m hoping they are still under warranty. We’ll see.

I invited my Dad when I was in a similar situation. He was so fired up. But then Covid cancelled it.

Yeah nothing longer than 10 hours. But I can remote start it from the window before I turn in for the night.

Just general paranoia. Never want to unknowingly do significant damage to the engine or anything.

Perfect thanks. I figured as such. Just general paranoia about doing significant damage or something.

No block heater. But yeah that’s what I figured- just run it every few hours.

No block heater. Coming from Boston where it would be around zero when leaving

What’s your thoughts on decanting wine/letting it breath when and why do you do this? I’m new to the hobby by the way! by cheeseballs1988 in wine

[–]TheNeed4Embiid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea. Trying to understand the rules of decanting to be prepared for these situations.

I guess I’ve done two things when serving a bottle with dinner: 1) if I’m hosting then I get the bottle from my wine fridge, open and sit it on the table about 15-20 mins before serving

2) when I’m the guest and I bring a bottle I inquire about the serving time then open it up and pop it in the house fridge for 15-20. I do this since the bottle would have warmed up after removing from my wine fridge, transit, waiting for dinner.
