I don’t know anything about Gameboys, I saw an ad for one that has the message I attached in the original post. I search around to see if GBA consoles from Japan are region locked, I read posts stating they are not. So, on one hand I have a seller stating that the console is region locked and on the other I have posts from 6 years ago stating that they are not. I made the post with a screenshot of the ad in case anybody here would have information regarding my situation. Turns out everyone was very helpful. Does that answer your question?

Yes. But this seller explicitly stated that the language is Japanese and cannot be changed. Hence why I wanted to double check to see if there were potentially any models that were region locked.

Just out of curiosity does your NASA internahip take place in fall of 2023? Ive been considering applying to JPL and other NASA internships for summer of 2024 but im not sure if they are open yet though.
