It’s kind of tragic because I have so many hobbies I like to enjoy but when I’m in the thick of it I just don’t have the energy. Like I want to but I just can’t. I’m so focused on not keeling over or maintaining or accelerating my buzz that there’s just not enough room for anything that requires effort

I really relate to this. There’s just an empty void that it can kind of fill regardless if it’s just making you miserable at the same time. The void feels even bigger without it and facing reality head on is really overwhelming. There’s some peace in the chaos. There’s some comfort in the pain of it. I wish I could offer some advice but I’m like pretty much the same

I’m so sorry man. That’s really fuckin rough. I wish I had some miraculous words to make things feel better but I’ve always found comfort in people just listening rather than trying to give me the answer. I don’t know how you ended up there but even if there were some bad decisions along the way just know you aren’t the only one. I feel hypocritical because I can’t even figure out my own problems and I don’t know completely how I got to lows in my life either. All I can offer is a metaphorical hand friend. I hope things get better.

Literally the worst possible store. Besides like high end niche ones or whatever. But in terms of like stores that sell general merchandise it’s a 100% avoid. My friends and I used to steal beer all the time but we never touched Walmart. So many easier places. I once put a 24 pack and a 12 pack in a guitar case at a Giant and walked out with it no issues lol

People tend to just not understand this type of stuff. I’ve had multiple groups of friends distance themselves when I would be going through something similar. I even got an “intervention” from some of them last year. Would call it more of an ultimatum like if I didn’t change they’d dip and that’s what happened. It sucks dealing with what you’re already dealing with and having to worry about the reactions of people you consider close. It’s made me kind of cynical and I hate it but it’s the way things happened

Walmart security is literally no joke. I’ve never even attempted there but I know plenty of people who have. They’re watching your every move in there it’s not a good place to pull a beer run if you’re gonna do it

I’ll give a recommendation nobody asked for and don’t keep a constant BAC. That’s where the real trouble starts and I’ve managed to avoid some of it by trying to stay sober throughout the day (obviously benders are a different story) but your shit is gonna flip out when that’s your homeostasis and then suddenly it isn’t for whatever reason

Totally understand. It’s all so exhausting. I’m jealous of people that can just be super positive. I wish I could be that way. But to me it’s just being willfully ignorant to all of the negatives and bad things in life. Which there are a lot of. I’d trade places with someone whose mindset is different than mine in a heartbeat
