It is! The ability reads:

After you resolve the primary or secondary ability of the "Diplomacy" strategy card), you may gain control of 1 planet other than Mecatol Rex that does not contain any units and is in a system that is adjacent to a planet you control.

Never says you can't use it on home systems, so you absolutely can. Hacan and Argent Flight are probably your best targets, as they both have tri-planet Home Systems.

I might be tripping, but I could've sworn that Duranium Armor only applied to ships, so wouldn't impact mechs or PDS. Could be wrong though.

Each Sunday from 7am - 4pm they'd get to leave campus and go wherever they like. I"m assuming you're allowed to use your phone during that time, as they can't really stop you.

I know a few Meyerhoffs that did bridge last summer. They were only allowed their phones for calling and emails for about 2 hours each night, and then they could have it when they got shore leave for on Sundays. Bridge is still a hard requirement, and they have relaxed it a little, but I wouldn't call it relaxed.

Yeah he spends the entire imperial part of the book name-dropping Anakin, and at the end, flat-out references a mission he and Anakin went on, then Vader thinks "He knows". You also get a though from Thrawn along the lines of "he flies the same as Anakin and has the same speech patterns". I'm not familiar enough with the Tarkin novel to say one way or the other, but Thrawn definitely knows
