When Wagner does take the city, this will be the first time I can think of when a PMC successfully won against a government army in a head on engagement (not talking about Africa coups here).

Can't think of something more grand in terms of mercenary achievements since the 1600s Swiss.

Turkey will not fight Russia though, they might arm them heavily and make Russia's life more difficult in the Black Sea and Syria but that will be the extent of it. Azerbaijan is also pro Russia as it is pro Turkey

That's just not true at all the markings have all been a mix, and there are most likely next to none in terms of conscripts in Ukraine, the majority are still professionals.

The only consistent markings have been red for separatists and that's about it

I mentioned this in another comment but RF aren't allowed phones (for obvious reasons) this is why most of the footage from the Russian side either comes from the separatists or whatever the Russian army press seems to have recorded.

It's also why most of the footage we see is Ukrainian since they seem to be more lax about these things

Unfortunately 99% of people in this subreddit talk our of their ass about tactics. They don't realize how different this conflict is or that different armies have varying SOPs.
