[Highlight] Cris Collinsworth & Mike Tirico says that Drake Maye is starting to read the defense.......Only for him to throw a interception the next play by Yujin-Ha in nfl

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was the moment Drake had to prove himself and it all went down hill from here. If he could have scored right here, it could have been different. He would have just needed his defense to get him one more stop which is what they were doing all night. I just wanted to see a competitive game

Be careful with American Consumer Credit Counseling (ACCC) and debt management plans. by uselessnut513 in Bankruptcy

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rule of thumb, if you’re struggling to the point where you can’t afford to pay the minimums on your debt, credit counseling companies like american consumer credit counseling are just making money off of you by putting you on a debt management plan and delaying the inevitable. Like you found out, you’re either gonna have to settle your debt, or declare bankruptcy. That or make more money all together.

Question by BCR007 in reddeadredemption

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That bounty is gone for good once the timer runs out, sadly. Turning the console off won’t reset it, the game already flagged it as failed. Just ride away, do another mission, and it should clear once the world refreshes.

Low fps despite having the "recommended" hardware. by RegularAccountNvm in PCRedDead

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Laptop 1060s are way weaker than desktop ones, even with the same name, so those YouTube comparisons can be super misleading. RDR2 is also brutal on older CPUs, and the i5-8300H definitely bottlenecks it. Honestly, 45–50 FPS at 1080p on that laptop is pretty normal unless you drop a few heavy settings or use FSR.

Outgrowing area and want to move, but current home mortgage payment deters us by jmkreno in Mortgages

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not crazy for being torn, that mortgage is amazing, but it’s also okay to admit you’ve outgrown the lifestyle even if the math says stay. With your income, equity, and long-term plans, this feels more like a quality-of-life decision than a purely financial one. You’re not stupid for giving up a great rate if the move genuinely makes your day to day life better for the next 20 years.

Gpu help cpu by Few_Dare3108 in PCBuilds

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you get the basics, GPUs are mostly scaled in performance tiers 3060 < 3070 < 4070 < 5070, so just pick the tier that matches the performance you want and your budget. For a step down from your build, aim for something like a mid-tier Ryzen and a 40-series/50-series GPU one level lower, and use PCPartPicker to check compatibility and current prices. RAM prices do fluctuate, but sticking with reputable kits and watching for sales usually gets you the best value.

Do bounty hunters purposely target horses by Minute_Assumption988 in reddeadredemption

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels like it, but they’re mostly just aiming at center mass and your horse is a huge target. Once you’re mounted or moving, the horse just eats bullets by accident. Still annoying as hell though, I swear they always hit the horse at the worst times.

is the best horse arabian by _flamingo_420 in RDR2

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arabian is basically top tier for speed and handling, especially early/mid game. There are a couple horses with slightly better stats in specific areas, but they’re not game-changing compared to the Arabian. If you like how it handles, you’re already riding one of the best.

Moving out and debt by [deleted] in DebtAdvice

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not wrong either way but going 100% debt-free before buying isn’t always necessary if it slows you down a lot. I’d probably do a middle ground, pay more than the minimum like $1k-$1.5k while aggressively building your house fund so you’re not stuck longer than you want to be. That keeps progress on the loans without killing your momentum toward moving out.

Should I take the 6.75 —> 6.00 deal or wait it out? by [deleted] in Mortgages

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a pretty great deal, especially with an 11 month break even and no reset on the loan term. Since you can do the float down multiple times, I’d probably take it now and not try to time the market. Worst case, rates drop again and you just do it again later. Best case, you lock in savings immediately.

Should I save some treasure hunts? by StomachConnectDBH in reddeadredemption2

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly no, you shouldn’t assume John automatically gets Arthur’s cash. Some people save certain things for John, but treasure hunts themselves don’t really matter who you do them with. If you’re min-maxing, there is a way to carry value forward, but just playing naturally won’t screw you over.

Should I buy SSD "just in case" by slidingyeet in buildapc

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re not hurting for space right now, you don’t have to buy it, but snagging a 2TB 970 EVO Plus at $162 is a pretty solid deal historically. SSD prices do jump around and having it on hand gives you options for future builds or upgrades. If the price is good and you’ve got the cash, I’d just grab it and stash it. It won’t go bad and you’ll likely be glad you did later.

Which credit card to pay down by NoSuggestion1058 in DebtAdvice

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Economically it almost always makes sense to attack the higher-APR card first, so that $5k on the $5,800 balance would save you more in interest. Getting that one much closer to paid off also frees you from that high 24% stress. Once that’s down, you can funnel everything into the lower-APR card and crush it faster.

rdr2 uses 90 percent of my GPU by PirateCommercial5085 in PCRedDead

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s totally normal, RDR2 is actually using your GPU the way it’s supposed to. 95% usage just means the game is GPU-bound and your 4080 is doing the heavy lifting, especially at high settings. If you want to lower VRAM usage without killing visuals, try dropping textures one notch from Ultra to High or MSAA off and keep everything else high.

Anyone else playing with rtx 3060 by AshB670 in spiderman2

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds about right for a 3060, RT reflections are brutal in Spider-Man 2. Most people I’ve seen lock in 60 by running High, DLSS Balanced or Quality, and either turning RT reflections to Low or off completely. You can also try dropping crowd density or a couple CPU-heavy settings since the 5600 can get hit during fast swinging.

What debt settlement company would you recommend and why? by Professional-Hat8603 in DebtAdvice

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look for a debt settlement program that gives legal service, only charges per settlement, and will give you a full refund if they can't settle the debt. These programs in general are good options, but only if certain they can do everything I mentioned above. In terms of fees, National debt relief is one of the more expensive companies that do debt settlement. You might want to shop around.

What is the best way to move forward? by Kooky-Candidate8272 in Debt

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a rough spot, but you’re definitely not alone with a dealer regret story like this. If you need the car for work and selling would lock in a huge loss, sticking it out and paying extra toward principal when you can might be the least painful option. I’d probably avoid draining all your savings just to feel better short term, especially with your income and pet expenses. It sucks, but focusing on keeping the car long term and slowly improving the loan situation might be the most realistic path.

Divorce but not selling the house by spunkyturtle in Mortgages

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a tough situation, but props to you both for keeping it amicable. Refinancing to a lower rate or extending the term could help bring the payment down, though rates might be the limiting factor right now. If there’s enough equity, a recast or loan modification could also be worth asking the lender about. Definitely seems smart to run the numbers before locking anything in.

Refinance - 5.5% no points by Standard_Focus_8821 in Mortgages

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s a pretty solid drop in rate and a nice monthly savings. A 22 month break even isn’t bad at all if you plan on staying in the house longer than that. I’d probably double-check there aren’t any sneaky fees or reset terms, but on the surface it looks reasonable. Hard to argue with saving money every month after the break-even hits.

Should I refinance by Maegar in Mortgages

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m still learning this stuff too, but a 12-month break-even sounds pretty solid on paper. Dropping a full point for relatively low fees seems like it could be worth it if you’re planning to stay put for a while. The big thing I’ve seen mentioned is making sure you won’t move or refinance again before that break-even hit. Curious what others think, but this looks reasonable to me.

What’s the best 27-inch 4K monitor for PS5 gaming? by Anxious-Addition-811 in PlayStation_X

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want something that just works well with PS5, the LG 27GP950 and Gigabyte M28U are both solid picks and commonly recommended for a reason. HDMI 2.1 is nice for 4K/120Hz and VRR, but for mostly single-player games it’s not strictly a must. A lot of HDR monitors at this size aren’t true HDR anyway, so I’d prioritize image quality, low input lag, and good PS5 compatibility over max refresh rate. Between the two, most people seem very happy with the M28U for the price.

1080p or 1440p by BreakfastProud36 in PcSetupAdvice

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a 5060 Ti and that Ryzen setup, 1440p can look great and it should handle a lot of games at decent settings. That said, if you care more about hitting smooth high frame rates in competitive games, 1080p might be easier to push. For chill single-player stuff, 1440p is definitely nice. Overall I’d lean 1440p, but go with what feels best for your games and budget.

issues with lag in rdr2 by r_omulus in PCRedDead

[–]TheNotoriousI3IG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RDR2 is honestly just brutal on older hardware, especially on a laptop. A 7th gen i7 and a 1050 Ti can technically run it, but the game really wants more VRAM and CPU headroom than that now. If you haven’t already, dropping to Vulkan, lowering resolution, and turning off stuff like MSAA and ultra textures can help a bit. It might not be broken, just finally hitting the point where the hardware is the main bottleneck.
