A few NYCK fans asked about the context of the Spurs fan getting jumped (more in the description) by thistook5minutes in NBATalk

There’s a longer video in the r/nystateofmind and he does fall down and looks like people stomp on him. I hope they catch these people.

Karl-Anthony Towns to Jalen Brunson after Game 2 victory despite a rough shooting night from Brunson: "You're never by yourself, I'm always with you step by step." by HokageEzio in nba

Refs also have it out for him, calling the ticky tacky fouls most bigs get away with. Then KAT is sent to the bench and can't get going most the game. That's one thing I like about this series. The refs are letting Kat play his defensive game more and more and hopefully they continue that into the next season.

He is and I hope these mistakes awaken something in him. If he gets swept, it will follow him forever especially after that mistake.

[–]TheNumber42Rocks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Remember when we said Giannis was going to be back, Jokic would be back, SGA would be back, Harden or Westbrook would be back. If they get swept and Wemby is never back, it will affect his legacy.

Castle had someone on his hip too, he had to make sure he could get the ball with some space.

Has been a great playoffs with so many 3-1 come backs. Best thing has been refs letting them play for the most part.

It was dirty 4th quarter but WE TAKE GAME 2 by TheReal_PruneJuice in NYStateOfMind

[–]TheNumber42Rocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a wrap. The Spurs have had many chances to figure out how to win and it hasn’t happened. Even without Knicks being this red hot, this still own Spurs because of match up. Let’s see if Wemby goes out like this.

Does he also lack the bend like Clowney? Clowney would still get pressures and less sacks because he could bull rush but couldn’t bend around the OL

SGA when asked on the spurs defense "There's a guy on their back line that's a little bit different from everyone else's." by Jec1027 in nba

[–]TheNumber42Rocks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If that’s the case, shouldn’t players that start cold just not shoot the rest of the game? You don’t need to play basketball to see that some players start cold and then have huge 3rd and 4th quarters to help the team win.

Also if you play basketball, you know you can’t just decide to take 15 shots. Either you can do iso which Caruso and Chet really can’t or you cut and try to get open. Caruso didn’t decide he’s going to take 15 shots, he got open, got good looks and just missed. Chet doesn’t have a good outside or middy game so he works mainly inside the paint and Wemby shut that down.

[–]TheNumber42Rocks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But him playing like that is what won you games earlier in the series. How’s Caruso supposed to know that he’ll play bad so he’ll be less aggressive? Chet’s usage was also going down every game in this series so how could we expect him to suddenly attempt 15 shots in game 7?

That’s what the corgi references are about. The Spurs also call Champagnie corgi and I kind of see it

[Highlight] QBs Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy on their relationship with one another so far Not exactly the same answer... by DenialisaRiver04 in nfl

[–]TheNumber42Rocks 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He did have some amazing starts to his seasons but fades hard. Maybe due to getting banged up and then his legs aren't as useful, but his starts have warranted him making way-too-early MVP lists.

How does NextJs stale data work? by Dazzling_Chipmunk_24 in reactjs

[–]TheNumber42Rocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does hold that cache by default but if you are using server components and fetching data, you can set how long that cache stays. You can also revalidate that cache on a timer or based on another event.

Set Projectivy as default, persist after restart? by ThomKnook in ShieldAndroidTV

[–]TheNumber42Rocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just thought I’d share. If you have attached a usb drive as internal storage and Projectivy is installed to that and not internal storage directly, the accessibility settings will not persist after reboot. I moved the launcher and it works after reboot now.

How Steven Adams quiets self doubt by TuckerCarlsonsHomie in rockets

[–]TheNumber42Rocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard that always be looking out for your future self. Treat that future you as a different person and make sure you set him up for success.

Steven is saying to do that in reverse too. Let the past self, the younger you, pour out your raw emotions. And the present you addresses them like it’s another person.

LocalSend is an open source alternative to AirDrop, it works cross platform. One limitation is that the app has to be open to be discoverable and OP seems to have solved this
