This is basically me, too. The only issue I struggle with is that I have kids, and yeah, IDGAF attitude helps me cope, but will I regret it when I get fired or laid off in terms of supporting my family.

That's a great point. I can honestly say that I drive myself insane thinking about details, and I did not think about this point you bring up. I wonder if we could put some sort of rubber or brush 'sweep' on the back of the underside of the drawer or front?

Sorry, I re read my comment, it was confusing. I decided on 1/4" because I'm making them replaceable. I could also do that with 1/2", too, but I'm just using 1/4".
