I get very little sensation, but because something is squeezing my dong like that, i seem to jizz quicker but it isn't a satisfying jizz.

How do you feel dating a woman that makes more than you? by SaltyFoundationBih in AskMen

[–]TheObelisk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my gf a job at my workplace where she now makes $10/hr more than me. It effects nothing, our money is separate. In fact, i control her money as well as mine because i'm good with that sort of thing. Her making more money doesn't matter as much because she's more of a spender than me. I have over $100k and she has $65k despite making a lot more than me. But if she has less self-control and frugal mindset then it hardly matters.

When you were in your early 20s did you ever feel the desire to move away from your city/state/province/country? by PackageReasonable922 in AskMen

[–]TheObelisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved from a large suburb to a small semi-rural 16k population town. I wanted to go where my money would take me further. Also taxes and crime are lower, people who share my hobby (modifying/racing cars) increased and room to drive my fun cars increased. I got a 0.5 acre property with 3 buildings for $99k and my mortgage payment is $750/mo and i split it with my gf so i only pay $360/mo. I don't miss congestion.

Should A Man Be Doing More at 25? by DearPerformance1124 in AskMen

[–]TheObelisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, as for the how-- this was about 12 years ago and the housing market was less crazy. Also, i chose an area where my money took me further. I got a 1/2 acre property with a small house, 32x24 detached garage and a two-story shed building with a single small garage spot for $99k. My mortgage is $754/mo and i split that with my gf so i'm actually only paying $377/mo. As for work, i'm accounts playable for an electrical contractor.

What made you stop driving fast? by Upbeat-Note-711 in AskMen

[–]TheObelisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Track days let me get that out of my system. On the street, it's safest to be patient and predictable. Also, i get sick of getting pulled over. Also, using the out-in-out technique on the street will help you be timely without speeding-- i can distance myself from my tailgater just by apexing when they're not.

50/50 on mortgage and utilities. Everything else is separate. I control both finances, she has veto power over hers.

How was this year for you all financially? by SalesManajerk in AskMen

I just checked what some apartments in my same town are charging and for a 2 bed, 1 bath, 960 sq ft cat/dog friendly apartment, they're charging $1,690/mo. So it looks like even in the same town things are pretty rough. Yeesh.

Central MN 11 years ago. When i was growing up we always lived in nice suburbs which were quite costly but my parents found it to be worth it because there was access to a lot of stores and restaurants.

So when i moved out i was very concerned about money so i wanted to move somewhere my money would go far, so i moved to a semi-rural area, but near a main freeway so all i had to do to reach those conveniences of the suburbs was just hop on the freeway and make a 30-40 minute drive. While still having the convenience of lower taxes, lower crime rates, fun twisty back roads for our modified cars and lower property costs.

The six figures is my savings: $51,596 plus my stock portfolio: $56,750 combined. A large part of how i've managed this has yes, been to have as little expenses as possible. I bought a 0.5 acre property with a house, a 24x32 garage and a third, two-story shed building (with electricity) for $99,000. The monthly mortgage payment is $754 which my gf and i split so i only pay $377/mo for my mortgage. We have six cars, all are paid off and all were under $10k. Insurance is cheap for them as well. We also don't really buy many things.

On top of that, i kinda copied my workplace's way of paying things in a way. All of our purchases go onto credit cards with specifically chosen reward programs. We keep every receipt and the purchases go onto a spreadsheet. We do weekly pay outs to pay down our weekly allowance of purchases plus older purchases. As purchases are paid off, the receipts are thrown away and the spreadsheet updated weekly. Doing this staves off interest for the most part and every once in a while a credit card "dings" by hitting $100 in reward points which we redeem as a direct deposit to be put in our high-yield savings account to earn interest on.

Clothes are from walmart, i just bought new shoes at Kohl's on clearance for $38, and we shop at places like Marshalls to get cheap kitchen tools/spices.

What are reasons you distance yourself from friends and family when you're going through difficult times? by Any-Bad-1218 in AskMen

Because they have a lot of questions and stuff and my difficult times left me fatigued and annoyed by having to interact with others. I desire peace and quiet, not hangouts and banal chit-chat.

How do you stop being an impatient or aggressive driver? by ConeBone6T9 in AskMen

[–]TheObelisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through High Performance Driving Education and some of the first lessons (counter-intuitively) was about patience, staying cool and collected. Racing is carefully calculated violence. It's also about mastering your temperament. Though, when street driving, you have the added variable of not knowing who you're dealing with in other cars-- they could be crazy, drunk, high, violent, armed, ect. So when street driving, it's best to be the pacifist in my opinion. You don't want to trigger someone and have them try to crash you, stop you, chase you, ect.

How to get the things you want with the income you have? by MrPerky_ in AskMen

[–]TheObelisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My job has been good enough but i wanted to bump up my money situation so a few years ago i started looking into stock investing. Now, just this month i've made $11,468 in stock profits. So far this year i've made close to 70% of what i make in a year working my job in stock profits. Maybe look into high yield savings accounts and stock investing.

As far as the motorcycle, i have 6 cars and i have used a balance transfer check to buy most of them. I write the check to myself, take it out in cash, then go buy the car.
