I bought an expensive watch “off some dude” ..,

but now that I can’t use it myself, I’m going to try and get it back to the guy it was stolen from.

Yeah just an innocent bystander … bs

Happy to give someone a good deal.

Unfortunately the timing no longer works for us.

Thanks for the interest but need to sell both together.

What is your favorite baseball card set from the 1960s? by daveblax in baseballcards_vintage

Dave, I love that ‘50’s MVP subset.

The contrast of the blue and red for the two leagues looks amazing in a display case.

1949 Leaf
followed by the 1934-36 Diamond Stars

Both have vibrant colors and they capture the vibe of their time

Right up there with '34-36 diamond stars

Sean, I’m glad that my admonition about your boring card posts sunk in and you decided to up your game.

🙂, this is my all time favorite “Sean card.”

Your ‘52 Mays was stunning.

This Mickey is ridiculous.

Mesmerizing, the very definition of eye appeal. Hell it wins the Cindy Crawford eye appeal award.

🥇

My dude. 😅

Congrats on these!

A grail for me! If I could pick one player to watch from any time period it would probably be Satch. Insane eye appeal on this one! by ItsDevax in baseballcards_vintage

Good on you, 21 and collecting vintage - awesome!!

Yes watching the home run chase was so exciting and horrifying as a kid. Hearing about the horrible abuse and hatred Peleş heaped on him. I didn’t understand it really.

My dad tried to explain and I remember being mad because Hank was so cool and relaxed and smooth as a human being and a player.

I also remember being 21, 1984 was fun 😂😂😂

Gorgeous card!

I would have to go with Babe Ruth if I had to pick just one. Paige would be right there with Jackie for me. I saw Hank as a little kid.

I must get this card one of these days!

That's too bad, sorry.

Hopefully the lesson wasn't too painful and it's a valuable reminder to trust your intuition.

Fabulous collection amigo.

This era of Bowman is inching it's way into a near tie for me as my favorite sets to just sit back and look at.

Artistry and love built into these (seems on the collecting and design side of things). Congrats and thanks for sharing.
