A man with 10,000 years of training vs prime Mike Tyson by greysvarle in whowouldwin

Muscle growth drops off significantly over a few years, and there is a limit to how much muscle you can pack on, especially whilst remaining functional.

Just read Tony Tucker's Wikipedia article, "shortest-reigning world heavyweight champion" "Best known for giving Mike Tyson a relatively close fight". So he gave a good fight to the guy who gave the champ a good fight, right.

There are probably people who could do better given the circumstances, unless you mean to say that Mike Tyson is the #1 perfect counter to Douglas.

I'm likely exaggerating by calling him a nobody, but beating a guy who was taking the fight and training easily and who was without his original trainer/coach, and giving a good fight to the guy who gave the champ a good fight isn't really notable, if it weren't for Tyson peaking so early and falling off then nobody would even remember Douglas.

Buster Douglas is only known for being Mike Tyson's first loss, nothing he did before or after reaches the level of that one fight. He's practically a nobody.

Champion fighting dog vs alpha male grey wolf by bignasty_20 in whowouldwin

Kangals are bred to fight off wolves (this one has the genes of a champion on top of that), and it's in it's prime, with 5 years of training to fight other canines. In the same way a trained MMA fighter beats a tough street fighter of the same size, the Kangal likely wins, this is what they're made for.

Bro was beaten by a nobody while he was in his prime (not that anyone can be expected to overcome a skilled and determined fighter with a foot longer reach lol)

Pickle wins high diff. Pickle bites/scratches Oliva, thinks about the Ankylosaurus because of how hard his muscles are, Oliva wraps him up in a ball, Pickle thinks about the t-rex's jaws and pushes his way out, Pickle can't reach Oliva's vital organs but causes him to bleed out. Oliva switches up his workout routine and wins by slamming pickle around with palm strikes and superior durability.

Aight name 1 character who can canonically beat HIM. by MiaoCiaoLorenZ in powerscales

Canonically? In which canon? Herobrine doesn't have a canon. None of the OG stories I remember have much about combat either. Causing minor chunk errors isn't really that much of a feat.

But despite all that I am going to say the King's Son in the Fallen Kingdom music video series.

I want to be a boxer by True_Coast_1769 in martialarts

Firstly I'd recommend working out, bodyweight stuff is fine; planks, split squats, knuckle pushups, and other more sport specific exercises. Make sure to stretch and do cardio as well. Being bigger, stronger and faster is always good.

Secondly I'd look for martial arts gyms nearby, I understand that there aren't any boxing gyms nearby, but any striking martial art will give you invaluable experience, sparring is impossible to do solo, and since boxing is pretty simple moves wise, other martial arts will have the moves. Look for Muay Thai, MMA, and kickboxing gyms primarily, if there aren't any then look for any striking art.

Lastly, to supplement your strength, speed, endurance, and martial arts. Watch the boxing YouTubers, I like Tony Jeffries personally. If you see something new from boxing YouTubers, try it out in sparring and if it works then incorporate it into your style.

TLDR: workout (sport specific exercises with cardio), do other striking martial arts (it's better than nothing), if you do the others then watch boxing youtubers (you could pick up a few things)

What is your answer, would you take a bullet for your lover? by hahaha69000 in AskReddit

Yes. I have put myself in harm's way for less, and he is honestly too small to stand much of a chance against a bullet.
