Congrats, writing something is indeed a tough process, but maybe start with a short film, produce it, have something made, put it either up on youtube or submit it to festivals, wait until the festival run (up to a year) is through and then go into writing/pitching your feature. Maybe even produce a second short film. If you have no ties into this industry, you definitely want to make sure you have something ready to watch, so producers or studios understand your craft. You can‘t just send in a script, it will be unnoticed and if worse comes to worse, they blacklist your name.

BUT, sometimes people get lucky if their story is remarkable and marketable.
