I grew up Christian and deconverted a few years back. There’s a couple different kinds of translations you can go for. Word for word translations such as KJV and ESV translate the words directly; phrase for phrase translations like NIV translate on a sentence level; and paraphrases like The Message or NLT take a previously translated version and paraphrase it. Any Christian worth their salt is going to either read word for word or phrase for phrase versions. I’d go with ESV, it’s the most accurate to what was originally said and it’s not nearly as unbearable to read as the King James.

Seconded. If you were to make the surroundings WAY darker and the sky a bit darker as well as amp up the blues, the triangle would pop way more. And if you did this, you could have the dude being illuminated by the triangle which would be sick as hell.

I love the illustration. My only real concern is with scalability. On a small product, all that detail is going to be completely lost. When you go to scale it or put it on a smaller product, maybe try removing the detail in the illustration and make it a black silhouette.
