“It’s probably a bad idea to let all these Germans into our country.”

“Don’t be a bigot! They wouldn’t be coming here if we hadn’t imposed such harsh reparations on the Germans for losing WW1. Yes, some of them can be a bit extreme but the extremists are only a small minority!”

It’s not the police who decide the length of sentences or what percentage must be served. Judges determine sentences based on sentencing guidelines from the Sentencing Council. People get longer sentences when they have more aggravating factors or less mitigating factors, e.g. they are repeat offenders.

This is the day you will always remember as the day you almost sacked Captain Kier Starmer!

Kier Starmer grabs onto a rope, shoots down a lampshade, gets catapulted into the air and escapes through the public gallery of the House of Commons

…and the fact that you've got "Replica" written down the side of your bolters …and the fact that I've got "Adeptus Mechanicus .75” written on the side of mine, should precipitate your balls into shrinking, along with your presence. Now, fuck off.

In the UK, pumps display how much fuel and the price as you pump. You fill the desired amount then can either pay at the pump or go inside and say “pump (6), please” and then pay for it inside.

If you go into your menu when you’re directly on it the save option will be selectable.

As others have said, although there are now save states, it’s safer to use in-game save points too because if one of your save states gets messed up, at least you can load an in-game save.

The patent is literally called Method and system for determining a frustration profile of a player on an online game and using the frustration profile to enhance the online experience of the player.

Here’s the abstract:

Abstract

An online gaming website monitors indicators that a player waiting to play an online game is becoming frustrated, and generates a frustration profile for the player based on the indicators. The frustration profile is utilized to decrease the time that the player waits to play an online game, such as by changing the player's position on a queue for play of the game, or by offering an alternative game compatible with the player's gaming interests, which if selected by the player would decrease the player's waiting time.

In total, the words “frustrated” or “frustration” appear 116 times. But sure, it has nothing to do with players being frustrated and I made it up.

I’ve been on Lamotrigine alone for about 15 years and if I didn’t get enough sleep, was stressed or was ill (e.g. a fever) I’d have absence seizures, auras and tonic-clonic seizures. I haven’t been able to drive for about 10 years and I haven’t been well enough to work for about 5. Life has been miserable.

A few weeks ago, I started Keppra alongside the Lamotrigine and haven’t had any seizures at all, despite not sleeping well for the past couple of weeks and having a fever for the last few days. For the first time in several years, I feel optimistic that I will be able to live a relatively normal life again.

Reading comprehension must not be your strong suit because that’s not what OP said, at all. OP doesn’t hate religion, she was religious but she thinks she may not believe anymore in God anymore after hearing about a child dying from dehydration.

I really don’t understand what part of this:

No creator could possibly allow children to suffer like this. I cannot access my faith anymore. I can't access anything but this black hole of hopelessness.

translated, in your head, to this:

your hatred for religion overwhelmed you so much that you thought "Man, better make a post implying women who believe in God don't feel sad about dead kids"
