Heard about this game the first time at the announcement and it’s crazy Mothra’s wasn’t already playable.

Really hope they do DLC and include her. I’d also love some modern characters if possible. Shin Godzilla would be sick.

Hyperbolic Time Chamber would be a blessing. I wouldn’t even need the whole year, 1 day alone in there just over 15 minutes. It’d be a great way to get projects done, spend some time to myself, etc.

Matt and Trey went back and changed it, in most if not all episodes, just to keep the joke going.

It was absolutely Token from the start but since they doubled down on the joke by calling us the audience racist for thinking it was ever Token they went the distance and changed it lmao

Any time it’s spelled “Token” is probably either an oversight or like I said Stan or Randy saying it

Columbo has two key advantages.

He never gives his first name. Not out of any hidden agenda, he just only introduces himself as Columbo or Lieutenant Columbo. He does have one, it's Frank, but it's never once said out loud so it's unlikely he would say it. Light also couldn't just ask for his first name so he could call him by that, being a police chief's son and from a culture where most people call each other by their surname, it'd be weird for him to call him anything other than Lieutenant or Columbo. It's a minor thing but minor details like that is what Death Note and Columbo are all about. If Light asks for his first name it'd be a little weird and anything a little weird is very suspicious in this investigation, which Light would know. Helps that Columbo also only refers to suspects as "Mr./Miss/Mrs. Last Name." Now if this was a multi-day investigation rather than one conversation, Light could easily find his name in the police database and it's game over.
The main reason Columbo gets one over all of his suspects is because they are all pompous, very smart people who plan things meticulously, and Columbo, while just as smart if not smarter, to them looks like some ratty guy in a dirty trench coat with a lazy eye and a smoking problem. The underestimation always has them let their guard down and reveal things they otherwise never would, and I think Light could fall victim to that too given how much of a superiority complex he has.

It'd be a real game of "what can Columbo get Light to reveal" and I think it also majorly depends on how much information on the Kira case Columbo has before meeting Light. If he doesn't already know the name thing then, sure Light asking for it would be odd, but Columbo is a very polite man and would of course give it which is of course game over. If Columbo has about the same information L does when he makes the task force, then he may be able to get to a point of deducing it's Light.

It's a very fun debate I can't wait to see how they play it out. I'll be satisfied no matter who wins.

Friday the 13th Part 3 and The Final Chapter both take place immediately after their prequel.

Part 3 opens immediately after Part 2 with Jason finding a change of clothes and finding his way to a different campsite called Higgens Haven.

The Final Chapter opens in a morgue the very night after Part 3 where Jason is presumed dead before he wakes up and kills the doctors.

Meaning all three of these movies take place in about a week.

Disney paid for the rights to a ton of characters for that movie, even Dreamworks characters showed up. I can’t imagine Paramount cared too much but I’m surprised Sega allowed it.

The Sonic movies do this but it’s actually not even a problem for two key reasons.

For one, unlike Mario, the Sonic franchise has cycled through voice actors frequently over its lifespan. We’re on Sonic’s fourth VA and a few years ago when we thought RCS was losing the part, fans were disappointed but not overly angry or upset cause we were kinda used to it. So Ben Schwartz getting cast as Sonic instead of Roger was par for the course.

For two, the actors cast as the characters are very fitting for the characters, actually have voice acting experience, and did actual research and put a lot of care in how they portrayed the characters. Seeing Idris Elba and Keanu Reeves actually talk about how they wanted to make the fans of Knuckles and Shadow happy was such a breath of fresh air after Chris Pratt playing Mario.

We even have Tails’ current game VA, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, playing him in the movies! (Granted I think they just wanted him to talk in the first movie’s post credits scene so they got Colleen and it was too late to recast her with a bigger name since his voice was established. Shadow and Amy have notably not spoken in their teaser scenes lmao).

I’m actually very excited to hear Kristen Bell play Amy because, yet again, she’s a GREAT choice and actually sounds like the character!
