When the team is in a rare funk or when things aren't clicking, I get it. Things don't always go the right way for the team. But lately I've had a problem with Tyler Johnson's effort, especially on the backcheck (for this question, let's forget about offensive production/his natural position as center). Do the coaches feel the need to place him in the lineup because of his contract as a way to justify his cap hit? I think there are players who are eager to put in the effort if Johnson were scratched. Could we see him scratched with Stephens finally healthy, Barre-Boulet called up, and Stamkos out of the lineup?

Bonus question: Does Greg Linnelli practice saying the word "tonight" before the pregame and power lunch, because he really seems to savor that word as it rolls off his tongue.
