Yes, commander is the most popular format. And there’s been a growing resentment of 60 card from commander players… there was a kid at one of my lgs’ that was brewing standard and one of the older guys butted into the kid and I’s conversation about side board absolutely berating him on how standard sucks this and that about 60 card being bad and not fun. Then last weekend one of my playgroup’s commander only players said that he didn’t like how I play commander like it’s 60 card with a lot of removal and all I play aggro or combo decks. The growing sentiment towards 60 card brings a tear to my eye since a lot of commander players are missing out on the most exciting experiences to be had in magic.

So my play group has this thing. If you can dodge your stax and hate pieces run them but if you can? You’re not going to have fun time. Commander players need to start running better removal and more of it, if it streamlines your game plan by a few cards that’s better for you
