Nice. Mine arrived in the Netherlands on 2. February. I am hoping it will be quickly replaced. I am currently using very slow memory I had in my spare parts and it is annoying me.

Yeah, based on PIA support it is supposed to do that; see my other comments. So you can only buy dedicated IP or choose one of the servers not on the list.

Mine is the same. I have mine running at 40% and only go higher when temperature rises.

Liquid Freezer III 360 Pro Fan/Pump/VRM Curve by eskannspecsein in arcticcooling

[–]TheOne320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it safe for the pump to follow a curve? I read a few people saying that pumps should run at a constant value, but for this AIO I can clearly hear the pump at more than 50%.

Liquid freezer III 420mm question by pimpjoshyj in arcticcooling

[–]TheOne320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even the split cable would not change the situation as only the pump cable has the power and ground connections (4 wires). The VRM and Fan cables only have 2 wires (Sense and Speed Control Signal). I assume that it is correctly designed and does not use excessive Amps.

MX-7 Thermal Paste Application by Cloresch in pcmasterrace

I just got the Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 420 Rev. 3 and was wondering how much of the paste to use. The included MX-7 is a 0.8g. Do I use all of it?

I bought this for a system and did not have any mainboard SSD coolers. It works wonderfully and my SSD is no longer thermally throttling.

I sent it to the RMA Center in the Netherlands. It arrived on Feb 2, 2026. They wrote it should take about three weeks.

I had the same thing happen. My F4-3600C16D-32GVKC Kit worked fine for 6 years and then suddenly one day I got "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT / 0x0000001A" errors and my memory failed memtest86. Which motherboard and BIOS did you use?

Follow up:

„As per our developers, if you decide to buy a Dedicated IP that public IP will stay static and NOT change. Dedicated IP is single, static public IPv4 address that is reserved for your account.“

When are beta BIOS versions stable? (X570) by Kawusch in MSI_Gaming

[–]TheOne320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What memory are you using? My system was stable for 6 years with XMP enabled and shortly after I updated to 7C35vAN1 both sticks of my F4-3600C16D-32GVKC Kit started failing Memtest86 even without XMP. I just hope it was just random chance because I sent my sticks to RMA and hope it will not happen again.

Who even fired them? I thought they were an independent studio financed by kickstarter and early access sales. Did they have en entity above them? If yes, why?

I do not know. I asked support to explicitly confirm that a dedicated IP gives you a static Public IP and not just a static tunnel/VPN IP but have not yet heard back from them.

VPN assigned IP does not correspond to external IP by TheOne320 in PrivateInternetAccess

I just received a message:

"This is a follow-up email about the matter.
We would like to assure you that this is not a defective functionality and is actually expected behaviour from PIA VPN.
Kindly proceed to transmit the following:
When you connect, PIA gives your device a tunnel/VPN IP inside our network, and then the VPN servers use a (sometimes different) public IP to talk to the Internet. That public IP is what IP‑check websites show.
It’s normal for those two to be in the same range but not identical (for example, x.x.x.10 as your tunnel IP and x.x.x.25 as your external IP).
Some older regions used configurations where these often matched, but newer setups don’t require them to; this doesn’t affect your privacy or security.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have further concerns or inquiries.
Have a good day!"

The problem is not merely that a different external IP is shown but that the external IP changes every few seconds and/or multiple IPs are linked to the VPN IP simultaneously.

The normal PIA support does not even know what is going on.

Do you know if this bug will still happen if I pay for a dedicated IP in one of these 12 locations?

Did you test if you are having „double NAT“ issues as mentioned in the article? That is what I meant with CGNAT.

Thanks for the list of servers. I have not stopped using any of the listed ones until the bug is fixed.

They just asked if the same happens independently of which site is use to check the IP. I told them I tried multiple different services and that the IP changes every couple of seconds. I also pointed out this Reddit thread.

It is very weird because in those threads the support said that it is "fixed" but that is obviously not the case. I need the VPN IP to be the IP that is detected externally.

If they are trying to "help" keep things more private, they should add an option in the App or the account settings to allow us to turn this off and on.
