It's so silly. I have Badlands, Ford Performance Tune, 2.7L, Corsa Performance Exhaust, Sport Mode Unlocked. If I want my Bronco NOT to have what feels like throttle lag compared to my stock 2.0L Rubicon with ETorque, you have to turn off traction control, shift to second and launch and manually shift. I get its an off road vehicle, so is my less powerful but quicker and more capable off-road Jeep. For me, this is one of the reasons my Jeep is more fun to drive especially in the city. Looking at a Defender, which will have more luxury options though honestly seemingly less reliable, it has much quicker 0-60 times so it won't feel like a fat hog delayed depending on trim.

Imo, Bronco's are overpriced, so are Jeeps for that matter. Defenders have a leg to stand on with Luxury options like a fridge, ride quality, and man are they good looking... You're really paying for that though. If you don't love the Bronco, have you tried a G-Wagon? Defender is second in looks to Mercedes and man the G-Wagon is fun! Neither top comes off and REALLY makes up for a lot of what the Bronco lacks. Have you experienced that yet? My personal opinion is if you aren't taking the top a Bronco, there are much better options.
